This is EXACTLY what is needed IMO. As it currently stands, schools can potentially lose A LOT if they are found guilty of a major infraction (see USC). But there's NO justice for the athletes who committed the transgressions. In Bush's case, he walked away with 50 million or so dollars, a hot girlfriend, and a career in the pros. Meanwhile he cost his school two seasons, a national championship, two potential bowl seasons, and multiple students scholarship opportunities.

It may seem harsh, but removing any memory of them from the campus is about all the schools have for leverage. I LOVE to see this.

 

They're also removing all OJ Mayo-related paraphernalia.

You'd think that this would set USC back, but just due to their location, they'll emerge from athletic purgatory without a scratch. That program will be thriving again in five years. The only casualty? Lane Kiffin.

 

Kiffin is a fantastic recruiter, so the only problem USC will face is depth.

The Trojan offense will be horrifying one day. QB Matt Barkley (five-star, #1 QB in 2009 class), WR Robert Woods (five-star, #1 ATH in 2010 class), WR Kyle Prater (five-star, #1 WR in 2010 class), Markeith Ambles (five-star, #3 WR in 2010 class), and Blake Ayles (#2 TE in 2008 class), all in the same passing offense? Look out.
