i cant find any free software for converting the file.

 

found a site that does it online. its processing right now. hopefully it turns out good.

EDIT: it didnt work. wtf.

 

I'll try to get something going tomorrow at work. I'm thinking Camtasia to record the clip and just bring it into Flash, but we'll see.

 

i think i found a way to do it. please hold...

 

damn, it has a watermark. i cant find a program that will convert an avi or mp4 to gif without screwing up or leaving a watermark.

 

im probably never going to do this again, but im taking screenshots frame by frame to build this gif myself in photoshop. where theres a will, theres a way.

its going to be 140 frames of pwnage when its done.

 

its nearly 7MB in file size. im going to upload a smaller one thats only 2MB.

I couldn't sit there for 140 frames and do that. You have the creative suite, there should be a program in there (Premier Pro) that can convert the file.
