What bundles are available? Is it all Verizon, or do they get DirecTV and Comcast in the act too?

I have everything Verizon. Once you go there, you'll never switch.

    FIOS TV is amazing.

If it was available in my area (SoFla) I'd be all over Fios. Unfortunately, Comcast has this area by the balls.

I want it... Verizon told me I live too close to Davie and that trailers have a deteriorating effect on fiber lines.

Yep, agreed. I have voiced it in here several times.
When I first moved to Texas, I had Fios. Unfortunately, its not available where I live now.
I am stuck with Direct, and it SUCKS!!!!!
With Fios, I was getting more actual watchable channels (will somebody please inform Direct and Dish that 48 channels of home shopping is nothing to brag about) and the Internet is Soooooooooo much faster than ANYTHING else.
Right now I am stuck with Direct and HSDSL. At least in Tucson, I had cable for my internet.
FiOS stands for Fiber Optic System BTW, and it is indeed going to make both cable and Direct go bye bye.

Which is bull****, because they're "mobile" homes.

Do you do business accounts as well or just residential?

If I had it as an option in my area I would have it in a heartbeat. Pretty much the best connection out there short of business class.

I don't like Comcast much but they are the only ones in my area with fiber; I just switched to it and, well...

    I'm happy with that.

Nice! I just wish a fiber optic option period. Right now I have DSL and even though I will soon be moving I will still be stuck with DSL there as well.

The DSL I had was advertised as 7MBPS, but if I got 100kBPS I was jumping for joy. And uploading? Forget about it...it would take 12-24 hours to upload a vid to youtube.

I'm actually lucky. For me its advertised at 3 megs down and thats pretty much what I get, only about .5 up though. Its decent enough but certainly not optimal for gaming. I never get host.
