    5 years is 2018, isnt it a 7 year deal? still 20 mil a year is insane.
    edit: its 180 7 years, almost 26 mil a year

    it starts in 2015...he is still under contract in 2013 and 2014....so he will go 20M this and next year, then in 2015 he will bang down 28M per......insane money to pay a 32 year old....he is 30 now...

    I think I will go adopt a baby. He will be a pitcher. His only toy will be a baseball and a box to throw it towards. Once he is accurate with the first box then he will get a smaller box and he will learn to hit the target repeatedly with his fastball. Once he is 15 he will start throwing other pitches. By 20 he shall be in the big leagues. He will have few friends and no little besides pitching and schoolwork but it seems like a good investment lol.

    Left handed specialist....hands down.....get paid crazy money, pitch to one batter....boom done....

    Albeit it is usally in a pressure situation and the hitter is always a slugger lol....
