    Vernon Gholston-DL-Player Apr. 9 - 9:51 pm et

    A league source tells Profootballtalk.com that there are "strong indications" the Raiders are targeting Vernon Gholston with the No. 4 overall pick.

    As usual, we'd hesitate to take any pre-draft talk too seriously, but Gholston would be more sensible for Oakland than Darren McFadden. The Raiders probably shouldn't go into the season with Jay Richardson starting at RDE.

    He could also play outside for them. They would be a pretty monstrous trio with Gholston, Morrison and Howard. They currently have Randy Thomas I beleive his name is and Sam Williams splitting time in the OLB spot. I still think they go Darren McFadden.
