I've checked 4-5 times over the past week and there hasn't been a peep about Tannehill in the media except for him throwing a little last Sunday. I don't see how this could possibly be a good thing....but our players also officially had the week off. Am I reading too much into no Tannehill talk by the media?
It seems that Tannehill's shoulder injury is much more serious that some may have suspected. As much as it's pained me to say in the recent past, I believe it's time for the Fins to start looking hard and serious for his successor. First his knee and now his shoulder, essentially keeping him out virtually 2 full seasons... We need to have a reliable starting QB and as reliable and durable as Tannehill has been, it seems his days are numbered. McMahon, Cunningham, Young...good quarterbacks whose careers were cut short due to injury.
Specifically to your point, the whole team being off as you know, media silence doesn't mean anything. It'll be this week's practise that they'll be looking at.
Hard to say where he's at without an official injury report. I suspect we will get some news by this afternoon. I personally can't see him coming back this week. AC Joint injuries have not set time table, and it's hard to measure how much it has healed.
Should know today or tomorrow. Last I heard is he threw seven days ago and for the first time had zero pain afterwards. That was Tuesday. Since then haven't heard a peep
