Vic Fangio joins the Dolphins

It seems as if Fangio is being given free reign on who he wants to bring in on his staff…which really is a good thing.

 

Like the way things are going with the coaching staff on the defensive side of things. Looking forward to seeing how they assemble a top tier defense for next season.

 

They should try to sign LB Bobbly Wagner:
He could be really good in Fangio’s D. A solid MLB would be great.

 

He would be a great add for the D; the question is: can we afford him, given our cap situation?

 

It may be possible if Jones is cut? I'm not down on the numbers but if the reports of cutting Jones and saving $13m is true, you would think we should have enough space.

 

I think we’re over the cap as things stand right now; $16 million is the number I’ve seen, but like you, I’m not super attentive to that part of it.

If what I read is accurate, then cutting Jones only gets us close to even.

Wow. I just read that the Jests' score accounted for the only points our D gave up in November. Even with the bye, that's impressive. It also gives them their moral victory, so it's a win-win.

i think with the injuries and score in that situation you and i were in the rotation there, so…good for them i guess
