Not like Big Ben's credibility has ever been called into question.

He did come up with the football. The fact that the refs whistled the play dead with a TD without letting it play out is the biggest ****ing joke I have ever seen in professional sports. And nobody will be fined, suspended, or fired because of it except for players who speak out about it because Roger Goodell and his cronies are nothing but a ****ing joke.

enless big ben has a black left arm, i dont see how he "had the ball, and the ref tapped him on the back for a td"

He's very well spoken. It's funny watching him speak and then watching Crowder in the background. Two very different styles.

And second, you are correct in that theory. Which is why you wait to see who comes up with it right? And guess who did brother? Guess who handed the fn ball to the official? A miami dolphins player!!! What else do you want? I know your a Bills fan, but for once just react as an ordinary fan would.Frumundah Finnatic and SICK like this. -
Penalize Pit? Are you seriously that dense?!!! It was a fumble, so you're not "penalizing" Pitt for anything!! Giving Pitt the ball back at the 1 for a guaranteed go ahead score I think qualifies as "rewarding" them. The last thing that should happen in that scenario is giving the fumbling team the ball on the 1 when you DONT know who actually "came up with it". Why should they get the ENTIRE benefit of the doubt? Why should they get the ball back AND get it on the 1? If they use the "we don't know who recovered it" excuse and follow your argument of what's "appropriate", then the ball should go back to the 50, and the "fumbling team" should be happy they still have possession of the damn ball.
You also don't penalize Miami (or ANY team) by making and EARLY TD SIGNAL in the first place when you're not on top of the play..... and 2 Dolphins were on top of the ball from the get go by the way, as well as 2 refs staring in.FinFan_Est.1984 and Frumundah Finnatic like this. -

Regardless, what exactly is your point? Are you actually trying to argue that the referees followed the right protocol on that play and ultimately arrived at the correct decision? -

There are only dolphin hands on it/controlling it , those players are down and being touched by steelers.... while it isn't conclusive , it surely is moreso that showing pittsburgh was even close to recovering it. Poorly handled by the officials and the NFL, not surprising though.

That's really all that matters. It should have been a touchdown or a touchback. Instead, it was neither.
And considering IAF, got up with the loose ball, which is used as standard procedure to determine possession (again, you just admitted such), if the correct call was made -- it would have been Dolphins football on the 20, with a 2-point lead.unluckyluciano likes this. -

When a ball is fumbled into the end zone, which there was no question about before or after the replay, it either has to be ruled a TD or a touchback. Since there was no evidence of an offensive recovery in the end zone to make it a TD, it should have been ruled a touchback by default. There had never been a provision for a do over like the Steelers got.

Where is circling the wagons in the stats column? -

He is lying, he only had his arms around the ball before he fumbled.
He didn't have to lie, all he had to say was "We'll take it".
Don't forget that all this $hit only happened because the refs' blew the first call, calling a touchdown.
Now lets talk about Buffalo and when does forward progress stops. -

If you REALLY want it to be fair for both teams, then there should be a coin flip to see who gets the ball, and they receive it on a kickoff...... either that or Pitt should've been forced to start the entire drive over b/c if the possession was inconclusive, then the team should NOT be rewarded with the ball on the 1 yard line.
You're missing a KEY point. When the ball is on the ground and there's a skirmish for it, refs are instructed to let plays run their course so that possession may be determined. What part of THIS do you NOT understand?!! Even Roethlisberger knew he fumbled b/c he was in on the action. The other refs knew it was a fumble b/c they were keeping an eye on the pile to see who had the ball.
After the TD was signaled, Steratore had absolutely ZERO right to IMMEDIATELY to run off and call it a TD, and he had ZERO right to contradict the other refs who were looking for possession. He even knew the ball was on the ground b/c he ordered another one into play, so why the heck would he rule it a TD while players were currently fighting for possession?! He's a Pitt fan so of course he wants to help his team win!

No one has yet to answer this one for me. Can ANYONE give me an instance that VIDEO REPLAY was needed to decide who recovered a fumble? Why do you need video to decide that? Since when? The answer to the question I asked is NEVER. The Officials on the field decide. Are you trying to tell me that the scrum in the endzone was the the most ferocious scrum in NFL history and no way could it be decided who got it? Or do you think the referees did not do thier job and try to see who got the ball? Pretty easy to figure out
MrClean, Frumundah Finnatic and ToddsPhins like this. -
And learn something about football while you're at it--- It doesn't matter if 10 officials were yelling TD because NO player on that field is going to give up on a fight for the ball at a crucial moment like that b/c you NEVER know when a play can be overturned etc. They're taught to fight for the ball until someone walks away with it. PERIOD.
The call also extremely deflated Miami as a whole and gave Pitt some serious momentum and etc..... but you don't seem to mention that, do you?
I'd call you a troll, but now I think that's an insult to Darelle_Revis..... which I thought could never be possible. Congratulations!!!.... You're an idiot!!
