Ive seen and heard much worse than this at college and high school games, but this guy and his girlfriend take it a bit too far. I wonder if they would say these things If they saw the guy on the street... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fiu1yAt9g7Q&feature=related Heres another video the same guy posted thats much worse. Dan Wheeler is the target this time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pf2tXDHKei4&feature=related
*******s will always be *******s. What has he done to them? Probably nothing. Some people need to stay away from professional activities or we will have another brawl like the one in Detroit (basketball) a few years ago.
Its easy to forget stuff like this happens when you watch games on TV. Im surprised there arent more fan/bullpen confrontations like the one at Wrigley involving the Dodgers a few years back.
yeah i would have turnd and hucked the ball at that guys face. though actually, i'd be more annoyed if i was the guy sitting next to him in the stands, especially if he runs his mouth like that nonstop for the entire game
Stuff like this happens at ball games all the time. Ive done it myself several times. Got Ricky henderson going one time out in Left field at Comerica Park in detroit... he kept yelling back at us, and shooting us the finger haha I dont know why, we were just wondering where his wheelchair was! A friend of mine they got season tickets through his work about 4 rows up behind the visitors dugout at comerica... oh my... we had a riot down there trying to drink a beer an inning and harassing everyone from So taguchi, Frank Thomas, Marco Scutaro, and Tony Larussa. Good times. We harassed Marco Scutaro so much one game... everytime we kept screamin Marco! Polo! Scutaro! sounds stupid now... but when youre drunk it was hilarious... he was laughing his *** off at us. So in his last at bat he while he's on deck were like do something good up there!! please!! he went up and hit a solo HR and as he was running to first he pointed at us laughing and gave us the thumbs up. it was hilarious. Also Rafael Palmeiro, I was at a game in Toronto when he played for Baltimore, just at the release of his Viagra commercials... about 5 rows off the field by first base... we re-enacted one of his commercials... you may remember how it went... "i take batting practice, i take fielding practice... i also take viagara!" just yelling it out at him... he kept turning around and laughing at us.. then walking off the field after that inning as he's going to the dugout he was laughing and just yells out... come on guys... cut me some slack, im just an old man!! haha too funny. As long as you dont get personal with them, and swearing with crazy insults and stuff like this guy in this video.. i think its okay.
i can't watch either of those videos nor do i know who the athlete in question is... but if i was the athlete, i'd take solace in knowing that i'm going home after the game to my million-dollar mansion to have sex with my model girlfriend/wife, while the fans are probably going to need a jumpstart to get that '83 berlinetta camaro with t-tops running in the parking lot outside the stadium and hope (while on the way home) that a huge wind storm didn't come by and take the roof off their double-wide while they were at the game.
Yeah Im sure Troy Percival (the athlete in question) didnt lose any sleep over it. Although, he did proceed to blow a 3 run lead in th 9th attempting the save so it gave this D-Bag a little clout (in his own mind) As stated in my original post, Ive seen this at high school and college games. Unfortunately I pitched a game at Wingate University which happens to have a Frat House in shouting distance of the field. You can use your imagination, but it was pretty brutal. And I had no multi-million dollar pad or hot model gf to go home to, just my ****ty dorm room that smelled like beer farts with 3 fat *** bumpkin roommates
no. As i mentioned he seemed to enjoy the extra attention. We were just having fun with him, not brutally insulting him or anything like that.
