Wow blocked kick returned by Winfield, now he gets a sack and strip and fumble recovery. Vikes should take a lead here despite beind statistically dominated.
Saints are killing themselves off of penalties and TOs. They should be up big but are down 7 and Minny has time to score again.
Lol the crowd is pretty funny, and they are pissed, the Saints are getting shafted on every call. Granted theyve done plenty of stupid things, but they arent getting anything right now. If the Vikings O actually decided to show up they could be leading by 50 right now lol.
Wow, that's the next close call going the Vikings way. Hochuli and his crew are having a very rough season. And yes, that Joker guy was great!
I know. He is getting all of the toughest calls. He may take the flack for that one, but I think he ruled correctly. That was so close, and AD has huge hands. Him and Mike Carey are my favorite refs.
Aqua he had the nose of the football in the palm of his hand when his knee was down, it was correct. I said it was a fumble but once I saw it from every angle it was clear, hard to call but it was right. The worst call of the night was the non facemask call that led to a Reggie Bush fumble.
Yeah that facemask was a really bad miss, his head snapped around. Anytime you see that should be an easy easy flag.
I agree, he was clearly losing control before the knee was down, should have been a fumble. Was a tough call though and I imagine the rulebook isnt crystal clear for such a close call.
Oh man another great return, he was so close to breaking that one but tripped after some ankle breakers.
I don't think so.. He was losing control, but he didn't lose control of it until after his knee was down. The nose of the ball was still held in his hand when his knee touched the ground. It's a rare case, but I think the right call was made.
The offense unable to capitalize. And wow Grammatica nailed a 50 yarder, I wouldnt have trusted him but good for the Saints.
No Aqua the ball was still in his hands, once his knee was down it came out. Bush could've had 2 Punt returns for TD's.
Yeah its just a matter of finding out how to use him. Hes certainly a dynamic player that you want taking the ball, but you cant just hand it off 20+ times a game and tell him to pound it. Punt returns, screens and playaction, splitting out and a handful of traditional runs. I think he could like up to a high pick if he can continue to produce and be used effectively.
Haha did you see the look on Drews face there? That was awesome! Man oh man, Bush took over there, incredible sequence for him, and the Saints blockers were top notch there as well on all 3 returns.
Yes but he was grasping the nose of the ball, he wasn't just balancing it on his palm. It was a close call but IMO, the refs made the right choice being it was called a non-fumble to begin with. Not enough evidence to overturn it to begin with, IMO. Now if it was called a fumble.. I would likely say it should remain a fumble. One of those calls, IMO.
Vikes will get time to tie or go for a TD. Bad last series here by the saints, to many passes, BURN THAT CLOCK!! *EDIT* HE MISSED, WHAT A GOAT!
PI call, that should seal the game unless Longwell wants to get murdered by a Vikes fan when he gets back to Minny.
Freakin AINTS. Surprised Tony Kornholerser isnt talking about how BUSH shouldve been playing safety.THEN he wouldve picked it off and taken it to the house.
Lol if Im Bush im marching up to Payton and telling him one player wont be at practice on Monday, either him or martin, take your pick. And the poor defense, held all game then fell apart on the last two drives.
