Indy is not a good team at all. Infact Jags already BEAT the Colts and like I said, is only one game out. So if you think a team like the Colts have anything wrapped up, I don't know what to tell you.
We're talking about the Randy Moss from 2009 and earlier. I'm not sure about this Randy Moss. His interview yesterday was borderline psychotic and there must have been a major incident to prompt this release. Seriously, it wouldn't surpise me if the guy finally snapped and went off the deep end.
Seriously though.....who cares...whats the risk? If he sux....cut him. Thats WHY you must do this...because its a no lose situation....
Given Indy's injury woes (three of their first 4 WR's are either out or nursing significant injuries), I would not be surprised to see them go after Moss! Not that they would beat out other teams on waivers, but I could see an interest there. When Moss does play well, he does so for good leadership - he does not play so well without it.
Yup, and that let's you know how bad of a team they are. They have the best QB in the league and they skill are fighting for their playoff life.
"Segal told the Star Tribune that he has already been contacted by the Dolphins and Seahawks about Moss." Sounds like it's at least a possibility, if anything at all.
They have only played 6 games...and are still in 1st with their injury woes. Jax is not a good team. Hell idk how they won 7 games last year. And Houston is Indy's ***** (even tho Hou beat them in Week 1). Peyton makes that team elite. And still scary. Hell they started 4-3 2 years ago I think and ended up 12-4.
i think moss is just coasting because he didnt want to go all out for a team he didnt see as a contender. my guess is that he thought the patriots would be down this season and with his contract situation he wanted out. now he sees the ship is sinking in minnesota so he wants out again. he just looks like he isnt trying. either he is just trying to use his name and past to get money he doesnt want to work for anymore, or he doesnt want to put in 100% effort to be a hall of famer on a losing team and risk any injury. maybe he realizes his time is coming to an end and is looking out for his best interest first. not the patriots' or the vikings'
just saw an interesting tweet......moss has a condo in boca, and guess who was his QB at marshall? Chad Pennington. interesting.
Vikings General manager - none other than our very own Rick Spielman. Hes also Vice President of Player Personnel.
That's absurd...... What on earth could this guy have done? Minny is already in a tailspin, they may now have to rely on a QB that has been mediocre at best his entire time there and now they take away a top target they just burned a 3rd round draft pick on? Can't wait to here what motivated this.
Are you trying to say we're bringing him in here to revive Penny's career? I honestly feel Moss would give us 100% if he feels it can help him win a Championship.
I think it's pretty obvious. The guy did zippo during the game - to the point where one could get the idea he's tanking it on purpose - and then goes around hugging every NE player and coach and saying how much he misses the Patriots. If the guy was playing for Miami, we'd have a legit lynchmob in here.
Did anyone watch him dogging it on that should-have-been TD yesterday? Between that and his psychotic break of a press conference I'm thinking he's mentally done with football.
I somewhat disagree. We need guys who can get deep to throw deep. If we had Moss, I guarantee we'd see him running some deep routes...... even if it's a decoy to draw the coverage. Either way, he benefits us by being here. Marshall, Moss, and Bess? You can't double all 3 of them. I'd pick him up this year..... win a SB with him..... and sign him for 1 more season to buy us time to develop a quality #2.
I said it jokingly before, but with all seriousness, Minne is a team full of firepower who needs a quality QB to really make it run. Their season right now is for s#!t, and they're not gonna sniff the playoffs. IMO, the best thing for that franchise is to hope to finish last and pray that Luck declares for the draft. All the talent they have on offense goes for crap w/o an elite QB to spread the ball around etc.
Vested veterans go through waivers after the trade deadline through the end of the season. The rest of the year they do not.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dbml3cY_pE"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dbml3cY_pE[/ame] I'm fairly convinced he wants to be somewhere where they can have him long-term. The Minnesota game was a shocker for him, but that whole team is in a funk. Just give him an Anquan Boldin level deal (2 years though) with heavy incentives and I'm fairly sure this is the spot for him. Watch the video, it's all about the money. That was last year not 07. He maintains distance on Sean Smith without going 100% even. He still has his speed.
I don't know if I would want Moss in Miami. Moss has shown that when he's on a winning team, he is a gem to have, but if he's on a losing team, he's a cancer. Not saying we're a losing team by no means whatsoever, but if we were to hit a losing streak (which is possible witht he difficulty of our schedule), Moss could be more of a detriment than an asset.
I just can't believe he did this..... http://content.usatoday.com/communi...paraged-him-food-inside-vikings-locker-room/1 What a classless, rude, insensitive, boorish, and childish jackass Moss is. Why pray tell, will anyone give him the time of day. How could you do that to people that are nice enough to bring you free food. Its beyond words......This has been confirmed from multiple sources, so he did it. I just can't believe he would be that rude and mean to people who have never done anything wrong to him. Its just unbelievable. NO, DO NOT BRING HIM TO THE DOLPHINS !
