Vikings: Vikings-Packers scheduled for MNF opener

The NFL will announce this afternoon that the Minnesota Vikings will play the Green Bay Packers in the Monday night opener at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 on ESPN, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Our View
The game is expected to be played at Lambeau Field and will be the first for the Packers in the post-Brett Favre era.

Looks like the Raiders will open on Monday night at home. This gives us some hope that Miami will get at least ONE primetime game this year:
