Interesting that Taylor was signed to the practice squad rather than the regular roster. In addition to the scheme fit issues here, there were other whispers that Taylor just wasn't a hard worker or in very good shape (that some of his niggling injuries were really fitness issues). The feeling may have been that he simply wouldn't work hard enough to ever be more than a limited snap guy. That wasn't a fit with the culture of hard work and versatility that Miami is trying to build. I expected him to land on a roster somewhere. His talent certainly warrants it. It makes me wonder if he simply wasn't in good enough shape to warrant a roster spot right now.
