This is a great new band to me, even though they've been around for a little while now. They are opening for Metallica. Thoughts? Great sound... the singer's voice gets on my nerves a little though. Never heard it before this, I think it's kinda cool. To me the singer sounds kind of James Hetfieldish in certain Metallica songs. Not too bad though. Wikipedia says they're from Copenhagen. Volbeat sounds like a campus newspaper at the University of Tennessee. Coincidentally, the letters in their logo are orange.
