"misi is sick." smh..... Hurt, injured or sick. Bottom line, for good parts of a calendar year he's guaranteed to be unavailable. Why is he STILL on this team again!?

From PFT:
Dolphins coach Adam Gase hasn’t been on the job long, and he’s already faced with the prospect of putting out fires.
In addition to safety Reshad Jones staying away from today’s voluntary minicamp because he wants a new contract, veteran defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh wasn’t on hand.
That’s not necessarily new, Suh has always been an occasional participant, whether in Detroit or Miami. But according to Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald, “Teammates are privately steamed about the league’s highest-paid defensive player again doing what he wants.”
Gase apparently didn’t have anything to say about Suh specifically, but when asked about Jones, replied: “I’m not going to get upset about anything on the first day of voluntary veteran minicamp. We’ll see how everything goes once we get to June.”
Suh showed up for the first day of offseason conditioning, and then went back to doing his own thing. It’s not a question of whether he’s staying in shape, but it can be a problem when a team’s highest-paid player refuses to jump in line with his teammates.
Of course, Suh has the ultimate advantage as it pertains to teammates — he’s better than all of them at playing football. And the Dolphins have always been fine with his training on his own, so they’ve already set the precedent that they’re OK with it.
But the guys he lines up with don’t have to like it, and apparently some of them have already begun expressing it. -
Are we seriously going to raise a stink over people not showing up to a VOLUNTARY practice?

Lets dont get upset about the first day of minicamp .
BTW if you look at this video you will note that a player reported as missing is on the field.

From Mando:
"Let me get this out of the way right now: New Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said before today's first practice of the voluntary veteran minicamp he "talked smack" to the defense.
Standing ovation, everyone.
Love this already.
After four years of dealing with a head coach who sometimes got "queasy," this is a welcome change in approach. Gase spent the entire practice talking into his walkie-talkie and the reason for that is to have "the quarterbacks get used to hearing my voice."
Smart.
Yes, folks, I like this guy.
Plus he's undefeated, which helps. But the truth is if a team takes on the personality of a coach (and it does), I believe the personality of this team will be more vibrant and confident. I believe a word you'll hear a lot is swagger."dgfred, dolfan7171, dolphin25 and 2 others like this. -

And couldn't they have found someone better than Tristan Jones to host whatever that show is? Her voice and ditzy looks as she reads her lines from the teleprompter are annoying as Hell.
