Not sure what to make of this story. Did he assault a man or a woman?

It was his girlfriend- I guess some places use "pregnant person" now to be politically correct. The part that threw me is them responding to a "major disturbance call" but "the alleged victim was treated for minor injuries and was not transported to an area hospital."
Not a good look and hopefully the league takes this seriously. He's innocent until proven guilty, of course, but these stories really irk me because charges are often dropped and it all neatly goes away. -
This seems to happen to at least one player every season. It takes two to tango so I'm not going to judge until all the facts come out. Definitely an added distraction to a team already struggling to make the playoffs.
