Im not laying all this on the Offensive coordinator Sparano has the option to override those BS plays but he didn't. So He agreed with the calls.

Sparano has ALOT of holes in his game, and we can not afford to sit around and wait. Why now are we going to build a dynasty? Why not lat year and how are we to do that with the same pieces in place? Sorry we need a shake up / wake up whatever and a new sheriff in town.

Ricky is one of those guys who really liked Parcells and Sparano...if he is saying he wil look elsewhere...it could be because he disagrees philosophically with whats happening to Sparano...

I didn't hear it today, but that would seem highly contradictory of Ricky considering it was Wanny who helped force him into retirement.

That said, I remember something Ricky wrote during the 2002 season. We were just emerging from Lucas' run for the injured Fiedler.

To paraphrase, Ricky said, "(With Jay), being on our own 20 doesn't feel so far away."

Basically, Fielder gave them a confidence that Lucas couldn't. They felt like they could move the ball at will with him at the helm. Not to mention the offensive line wasn't bad and Norv Turner was running the offense.

Cut to 2010. The inadequacies at QB have left the offense headless. The OL stinks and the offensive coordinator, he of the head-scratching staccato, has the players frustrated and lost.

So while he was being run into the ground, his efforts were baring fruit as the team was in the hunt. Plus he was enjoying a resurgence, setting the league on fire as the NFL's best back.

I have to think he was thinking back to the 2002 season.
