It was only a matter of time.:pity:

Davis might not survive here after a year with a new coaching staff. He's consistently been benched, held out a series for breaking team rules. He hasn't been a full blown media frenzied headcase yet..but the potential (and reason he slid in the draft) is there.
-
Surprised?
-
Honestly Vontae and many other on this roster should want to rip Marshall's head off, the guy has no heart when he plays and for being one of the top paid receivers in football he isn't performing to that level at all. I'm glad Vontae is getting in his face, VD has been injured all season but at least when he gets on the field he gives it all he has. As for VD having attitude I love it...

Another aspect of poor coaching, players misdirecting their frustrations onto each other instead of their opponents.
-
1. I agree, this is a symptom of poor coaching.
2. If forced to "pick sides", I'll pick the guy who doesn't drop TDs and run out of bounds on the way to the end zone. I wanna rip Marshall's head of too. At least Vontae cares!
3. No Vontae and Merling helps us suck harder in KC. -
Ohh just a veteran who is getting somebody for not being in shape, popping a hammy, and going to eventually have to be on the IR cause of it...
Some of you Marshall haters take it to far, what Davis has done this year has been nothing short of gross, and thank God somebody is calling him out for it...
I am starting to think we can add him along with Ginn to the crop of early round bust.....
Ginn
Henne
White
Davis?
Smith?
Merling
And we all "scratch" our heads and wonder why Miami sucks to bad...? Pfft.....Steve-Mo and Springveldt like this. -
This is a guy that was labelled one of the best up and coming CB's in the NFL before this year began. But let's throw him to the trash heap because he's had a bad hammy.
The fact is, none of us really know what the issue is here. Is Davis dogging it? Maybe, maybe not. The lockout has caused a rash of hamstring injuries throughout the NFL.
Could Marshall be over-reacting due to his own personal issues? Maybe, maybe not.
All any of us really know is that this team is a mess.unluckyluciano and NJFINSFAN1 like this. -
They should leave Marshall home too. That would save them a couple of dropped touchdowns right there.
-
What does Marshall have to back up his trash talk this year? Both players have been bad. You can admit Marshall has been bad without being a hater, try it, it may make you feel better!finyank13 likes this. -
Please show me where did label him that (hence the question marks)? I said I am starting to think that...point is he IMO isnt as good as the sounding board on here makes him up to be...again JMO.....
They are 0-8, players that are you know are actually playing are mad, I get that...when you watch the Dolphins play, they arent laying down, the team plays unlike Indy....this isnt personal issues, lockout stuff, or anything.....this is Davis who came in out of shape period....it was covered in the media and on this board in the preseason, and then he pops it, gets benched and hasnt seen the field again...
Players are demanded to stay in shape, and I know this is going to come as a shock but NO MATTER WHAT.....you can do other things besides going to the Miami Dolphins Davie facility to work out...with the money and time these guys have, it is actually rather easy to do so.....these guys can afford to go to Institutes that are actually better than the teams facility to work out offseason, and alot of them do....popping a hamstring is just unacceptable to me sorry....a tear, rip, seperation, etc sure....and if in the media it comes out after they put him on IR that it was something more serious, I will most certainly come back here and apoligize....
But again I am glad that somebody is calling people out for lack of preparation... -
I'm so happy we retained Tony Sparano.
-
This team has no leaders, and Marshall and Davis both have not earned the right to be ones.
It all stems back to having bad coaches, nobody is ready.
That being said we win today 24-10dolfan22 likes this. -

Brandon Marshall is a douchebag.
He deserves to have his head ripped off.
Mediocre play from an over rated WR.
The guy has done nothing but be a distraction since he walked into Miami.
The next regime needs to kick his *** to the curb and bring in a true #1 receiver.
What a fraud. -
People who live in glass houses have no right to cast stones. -
And there is no potential for him to be a headcase because he has been a model citizen.
Talk about blatantly making stuff up.Southbeach likes this. -

I was going to go to this game but cancelled when it became evident on how the season would be at this point. -
Marshal will go down as another big mistake made by this regime. Like I said, I pray Ross gives him whatever we owe him at the end of the season and releases his assss
-
Marshall is 13th in receptions, 13th in yards, is averaging 14 yards a reception and has a 68 first down percent.
Sure he's dropped a few balls but he is not the problem. -
We need a true #1 WR who makes plays.
Brandon Marshall sucks dude. -
I just don't see how you can judge a WR and at the same time say we have no QB. Marshall has made some spectacular plays, even if they weren't for touchdowns. He is putting up the numbers WITHOUT a QB who can get him the ball. WR is one of the most dependent positions on the field. He hasn't even had a chance to really succeed because of other issues.

"Dropped a few balls?" Are you serious?Killerphins likes this. -
Marshall is a ****ing cancer. The next regime won't put up with his lack of production and his ridiculous drops.
There is no excuse for his sorry *** anymore.
He needs to gtfo of town and away from this team.
I've said it all along that the guy and the hype is a big fat lie. It is all coming true. -
Vincent Jackson, D Bowe, DeSean Jackson, and Mike Wallace are all potential FAs after this season. I would take any of them over Marshall. IF we could do that, I would like to get something for Marshall via trade but, would go as far as just trading his contract, which is easily re-negotiated because of guarantees we paid, etc, and paying one of the four as our new #1.
-
It's time Miami fans realize that he flatly isn't that great of a player. Is he a bust? I don't think so. I think he's a nice #2 CB prospect. I don't think he's a guy you build your defensive secondary around. He's a complimentary player with the opportunity to put up a few nice years. -
Davis has already missed games this season because of a hamstring injury. Even when he was playing, his performance was average at best. Of course on a team made up of basically below average players, his presence will be missed today against the Chiefs. As far as Merling also being left behind by the team for non injury reasons. He has been a complete bust since he was drafted in the second round and the Dolphins should just cut him.
The Dolphins are becoming more and more a joke as the season goes along. Now even Jake Long is nothing but a mediocre left tackle who has given up five sacks in seven games. Ireland has done such a lousy job selecting talent as the GM, it will take the next regime at least three more years to make Miami competitive in the AFC East. -

For the record, I think Brandon Marshall has been a much better teammate this year than last year. However, the year isn't over yet for an outburst.
He hasn't been the redzone player we needed him to be, or the player we thought we'd get when we traded for him and paid him that money. However, at this point, trading him shouldn't be an option. You're not going to get sufficient value for the guy and he does still bring a lot to the table.
I don't think trading Vontae Davis is an option either. He's a nice piece to have on the team, but he isn't a cornerstone. -

I'd take the word of the QB's who burn him every week too. That's what I'm basing my opinions on. -
