Long Live the Kings is an Organization here in the PNW that works to restore habitat and research salmon life cycles and their impact on the world.
They have a project called Survive the Sound, https://lltk.org/projects/survive-the-sound/ as part of their educational outreach programs. They track salmon from the hatchery to the sea and they have an interactive game where peeps can vote for their fish and follow along, kinda like Fantasy Football or March Madness brackets. As part of the deal they have an art contest for students to design a fish to represent each of the fish being tracked. https://survivethesound.org/home 1000 or so kids submitted art work and they were narrowed down to a final 16 to be voted on. The winner gets their fish redone by a graphic artist, digitized for the Survive the Sound contest, printed on T-Shirts for the LLTK org to sell (fund raiser for non-profit) and their fish gets to be in the "salmon derby" races on the scoreboard at Seattle Kraken game intermission.

Well, my baby girls made it to the finals. Her fish is "Gertie" inspired by the Tacoma Narrows Bridge History and the Giant Octopus that lives in the wreckage.

She's a brilliant artist, costume designer and creator of beauty. So I'm here asking for your support of this great organization, and My Girl.
