Voted. If people would vote on the actual best player then RW should win it hands down. Grant and CJ didn't even come close to Ricky's day.

 

I agree. He had the better day.

 

Problem is his numbers on the site don't properly show the kind of day he had, they just highlight his carries, and overall yardage. Because that's clearly the whole story.....

I also voted for Stafford. It was gutsy of him to come in with a dislocated shoulder to win the game. 5 TD 484 yards didn't hurt either.

 

Voted for Ricky and then for Matthew Stafford in an attempt to stop Favre from getting the weekly honor. Doubt it will work though.

Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams' three-touchdown game against Carolina last week earned him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Williams ran for 119 yards on 22 carries, including touchdown runs of 1 yard and 46 yards. He also caught a touchdown pass, making the 24-17 win over Carolina the first game in which he had both rushing and receiving touchdowns.

This is Williams' fourth Player of the Week award, but first since Week 14 of the 2002 season when he ran for 216 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries against Chicago.
