More on that play according to Volin:

I think Tannehill is going to be a heck of a QB for the Dolphins. I also think he played a very good game against the Cardinals. If the Dolphins had won the game, I would totally agree he should have been the , "rookie of the week". Unfortunately the Dolphins lost the game and he had two turnovers at the end of the game which led to the loss. Those turnovers obviously were not completely his fault, but they did happen and the Dolphins did lose the game. My vote therefore would be for RG3. He led his team to victory in the in the final minute of the game.
The NFL is all about winning. It isn't about playing great and still losing the game. If Tannehill keeps improving as the season goes along, he will have plenty of opportunities to win, "rookie of the week", when he actually leads the team to victory. -
guess how many wins his team had??
this is the ROOKIE award. If this was top performer in the NFL or MVP then yes of course it is about wins. but this is for most outstanding rookie
if you honestly don't think his play warranted the award then say that, but if his play on the field (regardless of the score) is otherwise then..... -

you think other teams fans are wasting their time over a BS bout of morality over a nonsense award or just being FANS and voting for their guy?
Punch the ticket.
