Does anyone here know how the order is established for the 32 teams making claims this morning? Does the order change once the regular season starts? Does it continually change during the Regular Season? THANKS
Players who have less than 4 years of credited NFL experience are waived. Players who have 4 and more years are released. Waived players are subject to waiver rules. Waiver rules are that teams in the order of previous season's standing can pick up the player's contract within the 24 hr period (July - December) after the player is waived. Players who are not picked up become free agents thereafter. Released players can be signed in contract negotiation. I think that's the gist of it.

Also any waiver wire picked up is added to your 53 man roster meaning you have to cut someone. And I believe they have to stay on your roster for 2 weeks is it?
can't find anything on the two week deal for claimed players on waivers, however, I believe that does apply for practice squad players signed by another team to their 53 man roster.
