Commentators said his knee was bothering him and he is on sideline.
Please post updates here.
They said it is his left knee.
Wake on the sideline walking on it, looking down, testing it.
Knows we need him.
I have info that says it's his ankle, so im not sure whats up.
Your info usually stands up
not my normal source which is why i felt ok putting it in here.
It is indeed a knee, ill put what info i have in the club area
Its just a game Smokey.
Thought he got tackled with no call in the first series and went right out....
too good for us non club fans? wtf?
Dj is massaging his buttocks as we speak.....lol
Dolphins were 3-0... then Wake took an arrow to the knee
I will massage more than that if it meant he was ok...
Sh&&$ do we know anything from the severity, I heard that he was questionable for return to the game, that's a good sign right?
Good for everyone else who didn't know Jim Harbaugh was a done deal and flying to Miami to sign his contract
Such a bittersweet win if Wake is hurt badly though. We'd be so ****ed going forward.
If theres any question, Id sit him next week and get him healthy for the rest of the season.
Hopefully Wake doesn't miss any time, but if he does- thank goodness for drafting Dion Jordan.
I agree, it was strange how hard it was raining early, but later not so much.
can't win them all.
Doc says his knee is black and blue, but I'm not sure how they can tell....lol
Well I hope it's not something extreme. Wake goes to the extremes every day, in the offseason and during the season to be in pristine physical condition. The guy has no cheat days, no days off. He treats his body like a vehicle. If it's extreme it will be heartbreaking. I'm sure he's scheduled for an MRI tomorrow and that will tell the results. Everything now is premature till the MRI is in.
Since Wake was standing on the sideline, no ice I don't believe, I'm hoping it was just precautionary that we took him out. Injuries are really mounting though for every team in the NFL. These training staffs are working some serious overtime.
Apparently La Canfora says MCL sprain and 2-3 weeks are typical for recovery.
But I've heard other sources say he could play sooner.
We'll see. This staff is pretty cautious with injuries. I'd guess Wake sits out the Saints game but plays the Ravens game.
Supposedly a mild sprain, so he may be back, possibly in a limited capacity.
I think that he'll miss Monday for sure, then we'll see. Obviously we can use him against that passing game, but better to have him against the AFC Ravens, and then especially after the BYE when we play our division rivals back to back. Let him get healthy and not make it worse.
