It will certainly be interesting to see how Marshall does in Chicago. A bad year with low TD production would somewhat vindicate Ireland, but if Marshall has a good year it will make us look like the fools we certainly seem to be.
I vehemently think we are the "losing" side of this trade, but I will wait and see what the plan is. Hard to think we would be satisfied with Hartline and Bess starting. -
Seems some were fine with it because he had bloated stats that didn't really carry us.
He is not a top five WR so why pay him like one.
Philbin wants to have something to build on. Marshall was not that guy.
You just can't rely on him to be consistent and make plays. Period!steveincolorado likes this. -

Some have issues with OL. They think they are not important or some **** like that. -
He will have a great year. No offense but the guy did not forget how to play the position after 2 years. He simply did not have a qb that was accurate enough to get him the ball. I agree the number of dropped balls (especially tds) was inexcusable, but better qb play and those balls were not drops. This trade will make us look ******ed.

Bush league move, and it reeks of backroom handshakes for personal considerations later on for Ireland...Every episode so far has been more hilarious than the last. You can't script this stuff...This feels like Cameron/Mueller only less annoying

I REALLY REALLY wonder if Chicago tries to protest the trade in some way. Ireland knew about the altercation and withheld that information from everyone while he worked out a trade before the news broke. That is EXTREMELY back handed and shady.
