vt_dolfansubscriberOPMaybe we havent played a relevant January game in quite a few years. Maybe its been since the mid 90s when we have had a QB that we all believe in like Christians do the Pope. And...yeh, maybe our stadium can be empty and still at times.
But...nobody should ever doubt the love that so many of us have for this football team. We race to the net to see if we have made a huge move, even when theres a week before such a move can be made. We hang on the words of our brethren who started studying film tape of potential Dolphins draft targets, and have turned their love and passion into a nationally recognized web resource.
We get goosebumps when someone posts a video called "The Night Courage Wore Orange" on youtube, when we beat the 12-1 Pats on a warm South Florida December night.
We argue over whether or not a salary is a good value for our team, even though not a cent of his salary comes from our pockets.
Every day, 365 days a year, we gather here on this site, and others just like it...to hope and dream, and somehow, someway coax some life back into this franchise.
So...as we get set to start free agency 2013.....
We may not play, we may not be a part of a front office.....but...there is not doubt...that fans like you and I...
We are the Miami Dolphins...and we will forever bleed aqua and orange!

That was an unusually cold winter IRRC. It happens from time to time.

inFINSibleforum_veteranThe game was one of the coldest ever at Pro Player Stadium, with the temperature 52 degrees at kickoff and then falling into the 40s.
I did recall almost correctly....that was also the night they gave out commemorative fake gold coins....i still have that thing.
