OK, y'all had to know Ricky's ill fated pass that was intercepted in the endzone was a prime "c'mon man" entry. And, it was.

But, they also included the play when Bell intercepted Fitzgerald because they showed Sparano running down the sideline trying to call a TO just as the play ended (actually, he started running toward the side judge motioning his hands in a TO fashion before Bell even went down).

In other words, he was trying to call a TO when the clock would stop due to a change of possession anyway. Oops.

These are the type of things that make me question if Tony is the right man for the job.

I don't see how many on here want to see Sparano fired after he went 11-5 and WON the AFC East with a joke of a team the year before that went 1-15?

He is not allowed one average season after that miracle run? Geez...

We have all seen how smart nerdy head coaches have done in the past, they are far from a sure thing. I think he deserves 2 more seasons after this one to prove himself.

Tony Sparano isn't making the poor throws, dropping passes on offense, nor missing tackles on defense. We need better players guys.

I didn't say fire him, now did I?

However, the NFL isn't a place for on the job training. Next season will be his tell all. How do we rebound? Does the playcalling get any better? Do we make adjustments?

There have been a lot of errors this season that are on him. However, you are right...he doesn't drop the passes or miss the tackles. We do need better players. However, we can't wait forever for Tony to prove that he is an NFL Head Coach and not a coach in training.

I don't think I've seen anyone say directly that they want him fired, most of us are just questioning some of the things that have happened this year, for good reason.

No but he's the guy approving the idea of sending a midget QB out there to run the spread while we're trying to drive down the field to salvage our season.

Sparano has MUCH room for improvement.....

Didn't mind that so much, to me they are using White like scatback, though they should really use him fulltime and not just for one play.

Oh sure, that was a incident of no consequence, what troubles me is how cautious he is with young talented players.

For all of the hand wringing over some nonsensical timeout call, overlooked was Ryan Baker and Tony McDaniel's play yesterday, and the dirth of appearances by Cameron Wake.

Sometimes one wonders if Sparano is basically redshirting players more or less.

Pat White should have never been on the field on that drive.
The White experiment is a failure.

He's got a lot to learn alright. If you dont know that the clock is going to stop on a change of posession, thats a HUGE problem. Caught up in the momment, maybe so, but... come on.

I'm not going to comment on if he's right for the job or not, I mean, we went 1-15 to AFC east champs. We've contended with playoff bound teams this year in games we should have won with less talented players on our sidelines than our opponents in most key positions.

Sure he's made some questionable calls this year, but all in all, im giving him the benefit of the doubt. Although, our 4th quarter defensive collapses does raise a few questions. Either way, Tony is ok for now in my books.

The main problem that I have with this current coaching staff is our apparent ineptitude at making half-time adjustments. I'll be the first to admit that I don't understand enough to make any huge revelations about this, but we are consistently getting beat in the second half. That's very worrisome to me, and I don't understand it. We always seem to be prepared in the first half.

I wasn't talking about you and I am sorry if you thought that I singled you out. I have just seen a lot of people being very critical of Sparano (nothing wrong with that) but I think much of the blame falls on the shoulders of some the assistant coaches we have in place at the moment. I see a HUGE shake-up with our coaching staff this offseason.

Disagree, White has had a handful of plays, he essentially is our backup Qb, and if Henne had a year to absorb the NFL so should White.

Keep in mind White was a much better Qb in WVa than VY was in TX, so one may wait a bit before slinging around failure.

In all respect I really don't care what White did in college. It has nothing to do with that.
I'm judging from seeing him on the football field in the NFL.
We have had zero success throwing the ball from the pistol. The Dolphins burn downs when White is on the field.
Inserting Pat White into that football game at that crucial moment was a mistake.

He's had what, three throws? Much too early to write off as a failure.

Isn't that what Cam Cameron did once? He was villified for it. I think Cameron did that.

Amazing...10 plays and he is a failure..

White did not throw the ball from the pistol, he had dive play more or less, and that meant nothing, what hurt the Phins was defense's collapse.

As for what White did in College, we see what VY is doing in TN, and yet a handful of plays means White is a failure?

Please, that is low grade pot stirring and little else.

I don't mind disagreement Bro, but bring some facts to the table, White is the #2 Qb and he occasionally sees the field, most #2's never see the field and typically work on their golf games.

What got Cameron into trouble was not using TO's then overusing them and having none left at the end of the half to stop the clock.

I remember he specifically called timeout on some instance where the clock was going to stop anyway. It was something like a change of possession play.

Whatever it was was so ****ed up.

While Sparano has much room for improvement, Paul Pasqauloni's defensive schemes have even more. I would not be surprised if someone else is the DC next year. I also feel like Dan Henning is too much of a dinosaur at times, but there have been games, or halves of games, where he's been brilliant and the defense has let us down (Indy, New Orleans).

Hmm..I seem to recall back to back games where Cameron should have used TO's but did not, then the next game he used all of the TO"s and could not challenge a play ?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=mosley_matt&id=3138787

On Sunday, Dolphins running back Jesse Chatman took a handoff behind left guard with 1:30 remaining in the first half. The officials were in the process of stopping the clock for a measurement when Cameron signaled timeout.

Although he has proved himself to be an excellent offensive coordinator, he has looked overwhelmed in his new role.

Cameron was all the time doing things like that, and iirc it happened in back to back weeks.
