With the Lions win last night we are now the worst NFL franchise in the last 23 years.

The Dolphins actually have the 18th best record in the league over the last 18 years. Mediocre, no question. Worst is absurdly over the top. In fact, we have a slightly better record than Buffalo does in that span. Better than the Rams, Giants, Buccaneers and Bengals. And just one fewer win than the 49ers.
What we don't have are the occasional elite, special seasons. That's partially the team's own fault, and partially due to the absurd 20 year run from New England that's now over.danmarino likes this. -
The man is a complete football idiot who thinks he can buy, lie and cheat his way to winning.StaleTacos likes this. -
The combination of mediocrity, bad drafts, and awful free agent additions have repeatedly been our downfall.
We've simply made bad roster decisions time and time again. Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Andrew Luck, Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert all had a shot at being the quarterback of this team had we just either selected them or signed them when the opportunities were there, or kot won meaningless games during a lost season. Instead we chose the likes of Tedd Ginn, or winning meaningless games in the name of pride, or simply overthinking a decision that ended up crippling the franchise such as Daunte Cullpepper. As good as Jake Long was, the pick should have been Matt Ryan. -

Oh yeah, and the Eagles signed Michael Vick, the POS dog killer, so eff them for eternity. -
He had the potential to be a great head coach, mostly everyone couldn’t see the light, they just said he’s a tough guy meat head without the brains.
Let’s hope they win the whole thingLast edited: Jan 20, 2024dolphin25 likes this. -

The Browns won the NFL title in 1964, before the SB existed. The Lions last won a NFL title in 1957, and the Cardinals last won in 1947.
So as far as the SB era goes, those guys are all on the same level. The Falcons were started in 1966 (same as Miami) and the Bengals came into being in 1968 and have never won one, so they're next up.JJ_79 likes this.
