Week 10 Seahawks at Dolphins official game thread

Unfortunately, this is the first week in a handful I won't be able to watch the Phins live. Guess I will get MUCH yard work done.

Should be interesting to see how well Tony has these guys prepared for this one. Great Barometer for the second half of the season IMO.

We are a much better team then the Seahawks right now, and its been a long time since we could actually say that about the Dolphins against anybody. I just hope the desire and emotion is there today like its been in recent games. If so, we win an easy one.If not,well........I dont want to think about it.

I'll be watching to see if there's still a lot of orange in the stadium today, or if the fan base has figured out that this team is not like the teams of WanSabeCam.

No reason the house shouldn't be full. This team deserves the support.

The last game thread i was on i never laughed harder...watching fans like {aqua,sickfinfan} that you know love their team so much, go on an emotional roller coaster, is fun, i get a kick out of it. and i would never tell them to stop, it is who we are as fans and i accept them and others who bash the team 1 second when their doing bad and scream like a girl when they turn it around....i just laugh and enjoy their passion.

This year, too really.
In spite of how well we've done in recent weeks, that game against AZ the team looked liked the Keystone Kops running around.

 

I feel like our players feel like we deserve this game, and for them to play well in front of us. Today is where they earn our trust.

Bout to watch ditka and singletary go one on one during an interview....I love that guy and would play for him in a heartbeat, pants down or not. i love em

Couple of morning observations:

- The game is on Fox, instead of the usual CBS.
- The ESPN morning show has really gone downhill. I can remember it being appointment TV for me 3 or 4 years ago, but it is really a joke now. There's no clear analysis and the crew seems content to pimp whichever team is the flavor of the moment.
- Dante Culpepper is going to start for the Lions against the Jaguars. Wonder if he negotiated his own contract?

 

Man, did we just get some major props from the boys on primetime....Tom jackson, keyshawn, even ditka, picks us to come out of the east.

For me personally, i think its the jets for now, we'll see how it plays out.

 

Espn does suck agreed! lmao Daunte and Sage starting today!

Tedd ginn, he explodes in this game

Ronnie runs great and also gets more involved in the passing game

Ricky, he has slowly got a little better each game, ricky is carrying some extra weight on him.i think its one of the reasons why hes not as explosive.

 

Anyone else watching CBS? Jared Allen just made my list as one of the dirtiest players in the game. I had no idea he went after Schaub's knee twice. Dude should be suspended, in my opinion.

 

I also think we establish the run this week and look for a big dose of wildcat we are due

 

Man dj, I hope you are right about Ginn. I'd love to see him put on another clinic against Seattle today.

We need a big effort out of Ronnie today. We simply have to see some improvement in our running game today.

Really? I've thought he looked a little thinner this year, which is why he's gone down to arm tackles that he would have ran through. I think he's not as explosive for a couple of reasons: 1) Age 2) Desire. That may just be me though.

and the shocker of the week... wilford inactive again.. can we just cut this guy already... why keep letting him take up a roster spot... surely there has to be somebody better out there we can sign.

 

Well, we cut Hagan already ... I suspect that we haven't cut Wilford because of his cap number.

Too bad, because we could really use that money for someone that could help cover kickoffs.

 

i'll agree that cap reason is prob. a huge reason they haven't cut him.

how's that gonna work in the offseason, btw? will we take a hit then, too?

 

Why can't Wilford play special teams?

 

That's a question for the coaches, lol ... I don't think he has the right instincts for it, personally.

 

I think it is either Wilford or London and London is a much better special teams player. Earlier in the season when Wilford was active London was the guy to be inactive.

 

i think desire has something to do with it, maybe iam wrong about the weight but iam really good with that kinda of stuff, look real close today, anyhow i think hes gettin better, not great but better.
