What a showing by the entire team. Including some backup players like Elijah Campbell. Keep the foot on the gas for another quarter. Also how did this Jets team win an NFL game just last week ?
Refs starting to turn this one into a flag fest. Just let the game end you idiots. I's long since over.
Well.. great job all around by the Dolphins. 10-4 now. Chubb was MVP today on a defense that got its first shutout, Tua stepped up and played real well without Hill, and unlike the Titans game this team took things seriously until we were up 30-0, which is a much safer margin (Tua left the game after that). Hopefully this shows some of the posters who were overreacting last week that the Dolphins are still on track for making the playoffs and winning the division. Two crucial games coming up today: Bills vs. Cowboys, and Ravens vs. Jags. Go Cowboys and Jags!
So Tua has just went for 21/24 and a 119 rating without Hill against a top defence. I’m guessing the goalposts will be moved this week to he only did it by dinking and dunking. Fantastic team win and I think it really does show that these are different Dolphins. It also shows that McDaniel is pretty terrible at in game adjustments when injuries hit but he’s a genius if you give him all week to cook something up even with the backups backups.
Didn't watch the game, just caught bits and pieces, but this is an impressive win. It easily could have been a low scoring defensive battle.
Impressive win! Didn’t think with all those injuries, that the team would „pitch“ a perfect game. Props to the team and the training staff!
Naw doesn’t atone for last week at all. Had we won last week this week we would have sealed the division. great game all around and I was worried. Now we have three tough stacked defenses to play. we need 1 win in the next three weeks to win the division!! I’m going to throw up having to say this, but go Cowboys
You should watch it on replay. It's the first game I remember in long time where we were just dominant on both offense and defense. This defense is also a "scoring" defense, which is awesome. It's no accident they keep getting key turnovers that are either returned for a TD or get the offense close to the goal line. VERY satisfying (that's the way that legendary Ravens defense in 2000 was — we're nowhere as good as they were of course, but still it's nice to see).
Going to be super important for the stretch and playoffs, along with the offense not giving up easy/dumb TOs. It's just such a huge advantage, and we have playmakers and ballhawks all over that defense. The team needs to carry the fire and anger through as well. Cant be complacent, we have to get that playoff mentality.
Belichick and Brady did that best. Killer instinct and mechanical play till the end. Never become complacent — good lesson in life too.
Great to see a bounce-back game from Miami, after that horrible loss to the Titans. Still, a TOUGH road ahead and everything is still on the line (playoffs, AFCEast crown, home field).
Didn’t get to watch the game. White knuckled the steering wheel all the way from DC through Newark. God I hate the northeast. Listened to the play by play on chat sports. Was ecstatic!!! Hopefully will get the see next week’s destruction of the Cowboys.
You can tell Chris Simms is still salty about Tua (and the Dolphins') success. He's a scummy individual for his comments after Eric Carmona's death. Here, he's putting more blame on the Jests' ineptitude than credit to the Dolphins despite knowing how difficult it is to shut an NFL team out.
With the Jets loss to Miami, they now own the longest active postseason drought in all major North American sports leagues: 13 seasons! Keep it up Jets! buahahahahahaha!
*Chortle (Had to take him off of ignore to see his prediction..no surprise) And no surprise that those who bash this team don't show up to eat their crow. lol
That hands down is the receipt of the millennium. No wonder he tucked his tail between his legs and crawled under a rock lol!!!!!!!
I was absolutely stoked to see us win the game , given the injuries , and to nil the Jets made it so much sweeter. Lets hope we can win some of the remaining games.
