So my observations. -Flores+Weather do you even look at the weather report? The game plan should have been a steady diet of Duke + Lindsay + Gaskin. But apparently in Flores' pea brain weather can't possibly affect a football game. -Tua, well, I don't really need to say anything on that. He is who I thought he was, today he is worse than that. So much so that I'm almost ready to consider injecting Jacoby into the game. At least I don't have to hold my breath that he won't fumble every snap. -Defense doing about as well as could be expected with TENN dominating T.O.P. -The bright side about Flores being woefully unprepared, is that we have some semblance of hope being a second half team. -If our offense doesn't start making some long drives for points immediately, our defense will be sucking wind by mid 3rd quarter, that's when the scoreboard gets ugly. -OL my god you guys are sooooo bad. And I have no confidence it will get fixed because Grier. Even if he could put all the NFL rdy OLmen in a bucket he couldn't hit the target. -DUUUUKE - If our coach wasn't a moron, we'd be seeing a lot more of him, and Lindsay. -Wadde - Can't run crispy routes that leave him wide open, again, field conditions. -Last Word - We should have come into this game preparing for a rushing battle, and lots of two TE sets. Game-planning, Game-planning, Game-planning. What were these guys doing all week I'd love too know. They certainly seem like they were caught completely off guard by the weather. Whether Tua is avg or potentially better than that in the future, that head full of hope is nice,
Yes; 3 yards behind is an exageration. Just like saying becuase he got both hands on the ball that he should catch it. That's just not the case on a throw that's high and behind. It's an exaggerated expectation. I think we can both agree though that Tua hasn't been as accurate as usual today. Usually IMO his ball placement is very good; he's just been off today. Weather; unprepared offense; who really knows but to me it's not normal to see him throwing like this.
Special teams has been brutal. Make a fair catch outside the 10 yard line! Ball bounced at the 13. Basic football
Big play there by Baker; well needed! That punt is a killer though. These commentators debating that penalty for the blindside block is comical too. It's a weak block; but it certainly fits the definition of blindside block. Amazing how they manage to come up with new terms to try and dispute a call in our favor
No we don’t. Duke Johnson running for 14 yards and Jaylen Waddle getting a 14 yard reception is still 14 yards. In case you haven’t been watching, Tennessee has been running all game long
That's a great throw to Parker. Right on him, maybe coulda been a bit more out front, but it was a nice little rocket there.
If Tua puts that ball out front of Gesicki he's got another big gain probably, but it's behind him. Waddle shoulda caught that deep ball.
Nice throw to Smythe there. Right over the LB that had his back turned. Tua coming out HOT after the halftime break
The OL is just so bad. We knew it would come back to haunt us. Sanders couldn't make up for the lost yardage, just failure all around today.
Hahahahaha I'm so happy they saved us the typical last week heartache and got it out of the way early
I thought it was a facemask too, but on replay it wasn't. I didn't see a foul there after the replays.
