Bummed for Brooks there. But there's the TD for Ahmed.

    Beautiful! Comfortable 5-1 win.

Our "average" QB put up a 126 rating game with 3 TD 0 INT, and is now at 114.1 for the year. Yup. Clearly average lol.

Tyreek Hill is now at 814 yards after 6 games. That is unbelievable. Over a 16 game season that's 2171 yards (no one has ever gone over 2000 with 16 games) and over 17 games that's 2306.

Now comes our second great test after Buffalo against Philly. Time to prove we're a true SB favorite.

The detractors will say that the Dolphins' opponents so far don’t have a great record this season, but you can only play what’s in front of you.

Maybe this roster should take inspiration from the 1985 game against the Bears.

Anybody else watching the 49ers getting f*cked by the refs?

I'm glad they're beating the teams they should beat handily. That means they're likely a playoff team. But next week's game against the Eagles and the one against the Chiefs two weeks after that are going to be the games that tell the league who we really are. IMHO, we have to do no worse than split those two games--and handle the Pats, too. If we drop the Eagles AND the Chiefs games, we're pretenders who won't make it past the second round of the playoffs at best. Although at this point in my career as a fan, I think I'd take a playoff victory in the first round and consider myself lucky to see one again.

Typical home field advantage. Home teams gets way more calls than the away team.

However, the big takeaway from this game is that Cleveland's defense made Purdy look average. That is a revelation because so far no one has been able to do that. Other teams will look at the tape and learn from this.

Otherwise, SF is lucky they're playing against this guy named PJ Walker who looks like he might not be good enough to be a 4th string QB lol (at least in the little I've seen since I switched over). If Watson was playing, SF is easily going 5-1. Maybe they still do with the ref help Cleveland is getting.

Jets entire secondary is out, I believe, now that Gardner has been ruled out. Hurts should have a field day, unless the pass rush can get to him.

PS. I don’t think I want to face that Cleveland D in the playoffs, should they get that far.

We are going to get absolutely killed in Philly. Physical team that should slow down our offense and our defense does t stand a shot. They are a worse matchup for us than buffalo. Hate being negative but it’s how I see it. Only hope is that Tua goes Super Saiyan.

I’ll say this though: if you win next week, this season is different and will be very special if everyone remains healthy.

Is Williams due back next week? Having our best OL is going to be vital against that Eagles defense.

Have some faith. I think we can beat the Eagles next week. It'll definitely be a good game. Probably come down to who has the ball last. I don't know, normally I'm glass half empty, we're gonna get smashed type mode, but I feel different about this team this year. We'll see. Can't make mistakes, and we have to keep scoring. Do that and we can beat them.

Even if we don't win next week this season is different. First 5-1 start since 2002, and we're #1 in many key offensive stats. We are legitimately a top 3 AFC team, and top 5 NFL team. That's not something you could have said for over 20 years.

Staying healthy will be key of course, especially Tua.

The Jets are playing the Eagles close. Could be two 5-1 teams facing off against each other next week.

EDIT: Meanwhile in the Pats game, Parker drops a potential game winner. That feels familiar.

The Jest are playing them real close. Nobody is going to convince me that the Jest are good so, the Eaglets must be overhyped.

If we get blown next week though…blown out against Buffalo and the Eagles? Proves we are only beating up on mid to bad teams. It has to be at least a competitive game.

I really don’t want the Eagles to lose. Not because of my hatred of the Jets. No, that’s not the reason.

I don’t want the Eagles to lose because GOOD teams rarely lose 2 in a row. If the Jets win, we’re going to be in a bloodbath next week the likes that haven’t been seen since Fallujah.

I don’t want that kind of battle.

Unless the Jets choke this in the most ridiculous way possible then they're going to beat the Eagles.

EDIT: He scored too quickly. Eagles are going to get the chance to win this now.

Jets defense was 14th in points allowed coming into this game. Yes they played some good teams, but they have to earn that "top 5" moniker on the scoreboard. More importantly, Jets don't have a QB. Their offense coming into this game was ranked 24th in points scored. I think the Dolphins will be heavily favored against the Jets. Expecting a sweep this year.
