Green Bay could not put the redskins away, they had a lot of penalties, little run game, and the redskins got to Rodgers a lot. To top it all off, Clay Mathews might be out.:hi5:

This game to me, does not look as bad as it did week 1.

That was solely the result of injuries. Matthews was destroying the Skins prior to being pulled as a precautionary measure and Finley and Lee were both out early. Pray that theyre still dinged up when we go up there.

most difficult stadium to play in the NFL, we'll definitely need to bring our A-Game

Hearing that Rogers was concussed as well.

"But" injuries can be a waaay overrated factor in the outcome of games, good teams typically muddle through them and find ways to win

The thing here is that the Packers are taking injuries at key positions. Al Harris and Atari Bigby won’t come off PUP until after we play them, Ryan Grant is out for the year, both TEs are dinged up… it’s very tough for even the best team to overcome those sorts of injuries.

If Rodgers really is concussed, then Matt Flynn is not a guy we should take lightly should he start next week. He’s at least as good as Thigpen.

Ryan Pickett also left the game with an ankle injury and did not return.

These guys are the walking wounded. If the Phins can't go in there and steal a win, what good are they?

I agree with this. If they're missing Rodgers and Finley, nonetheless guys like Matthews and Pickett and we can't pull off a win, our season is over.

It's almost the perfect situation for Miami anyway. They need a lower profile 1pm Away game right now. Injuries are sketchy, Rodgers probably plays. Finley probably wont play. Honestly though, even backup TEs scare me haha.

Overall it was a good weekend for the Dolphins. Last undefeated lost, and a bunch of playoff challengers lost to fall to 2-3 or 3-2 (Bengals, Texans, Chargers). Hopefully the Vikings get the win, but IDK about that.

This is why looking at the schedule and projecting wins and losses is pointless. Matthews isnt a big loss, Jake was gonna cancel him out anyway. Finley and Pickett are a big deal, Rodgers is huge. If those 4 don't play and we still don't win, might as well start asking Con & CK about the draft...

I’d also like to point out that our week 8 game at Cincinnati now looks like a joke. Carson Palmer is Alex Smith with two playoff appearances.

Matthews is a beast, and they could put him on Carey's side. Agreed on your other points though. Finley is a matchup nightmare for us and obviously Rodgers is one of the best in the business.

Fine, put him on the right. We'll run off-tackle and Carey can push him into the secondary. On pass plays, we can slide the pass pro to his side, its not like they have Lamar Woodley on the other side. I'm not worried about 52, at all. 21 is a different story.

Nah, losing in GB is not the end of the season, but you are correct about predicting wins and losses is not possible.

The Pack is particularly beaten up at the moment, that is a clear trend, they also are at home and their Wr's are quite healthy so anything can happen.

I doubt Clay Matthews doesn't play, the hamstring injury didn't look that bad and he didn't even go to the locker room for futher evaluation.

Tell me about it. The Bungles lost to the Bucs and Browns, after beating the Ravens. Ruined my parlays three weeks in a row :pity:.

2-3 doesn't kill the season, but if we can't beat Matt Flynn and his non-existent running game, then who can we beat?

It's still going to be tough in GB even with their injuries. The best teams can overcome injuries, even to the QB. [Example: Steelers] Dolphins can't blow it though.

And the Bears game looks tougher now then the Bengals/Packers games.[Especially with the Dolphins recent chokes at home in prime time.] None of these games are gimmes though, for anyone.

Matthews would go against Carey as much or more than against Long.

cincinnati is not a pushover game. they are going through what we're going through, namely shooting themselves in the foot. green bay however was a flawed team even before sunday's injuries. now they have more injuries. no excuse losing that one

If Rodgers misses the game and we still can't come out with a victory then it's time to pack the bags. Seriously.

I've never seen a game set up so potentially well for the road team, coming off a bye, superstar QB injured, two TE's down who we couldn't have covered, Matthews dinged.

We need to win this one.

I expect us to run the ball at least 50 times if Rodgers is out. Which means, you guessed it, Wildcat time!

50 times? With the way Ronnie and Ricky are playing that could mean 13 fumbles.

I think any NO WAY we do this, or NO WAY we do that gets tossed out the window immediately.

These next four regardless of who suits up for the opposing team or who doesnt really has limited impact on our performance. We can not afford to beat ourselves.

From ST points or chunk yards, to failed FG range conversions or Red Zone turnovers, etc. Its all about us, and not the opponent as has been proven time and time again this NFL season throughout the league.

These next 4 games are tough. Sure we can walk away with 4 wins, or 0 wins. I would say 1 win is the highest probability, and 2 wins would be expected and actually set up the final 8 games for a playoff chase. 3 wins would immediately change the dynamics.

I hear Aaron Rodgers may HAVE to sit out due to NFL concussion rules?? Even if they were thinking of playing him?

It's still not a given, look what the Steelers did without their starting QB. But, still, it feels so much better going in.

What does Rodgers being out have to do with the offense we run?
