The Steelers would like to welcome Levi Brown, RT, for 1.15M. Levi will compete for a starting role at RT.
The Colts welcome three new members to the team as well as a returning one member. They are excited to bring these players into the Colts organization. Adam Vinatieri agreed to a paycut to return to Indianapolis as the team's place kicker. Graham Harrell signed to a minimum contract at Indianapolis, he is slated to be the third string quarterback as Clements continues to work with him. Cortez Allen signed with Indianapolis and they hope to develop him in time, however he is currently slated to be the team's dime back. Willie Colon signed with Indianapolis and they look to move him from tackle to guard. Colon is penciled in as the starter for the Colts at right guard.
Buffalo would like to welcome a slew of young depth guys, 1 starting corner, and our new kicker despite being an ex Patsie. ~TE Jordan Cameron ~T/G Jason Pinkston ~DT Jarvis Jenkins (the more Tigers the merrier) ~DT EJ Wilson ~S Darcel McBath ~K Stephen Gostkowski ~CB Tarrell Brown
In the meantime, the Colts welcome back Dwight Freeney who took a $6.0M paycut to return to Indianapolis. Thank you and good night.
Jets welcome the following players to training camp Longwell, Ryan - $300K - Jets - 8:34AM EST (2/27) DeOssie, Zak - $300K - Jets - 8:34AM EST (2/27) Clausen, Jimmy - $300K - Jets - 8:34AM EST (2/27) Leinart, Matt - $300K - Jets - 8:34AM EST (2/27)
Bengals sign DE, Arthur Moats $300k and RB, Da'Rel Scott $950k Just picked up a couple of young, solid depth players for cheap. Scott will actually be my current starter and Moats will be used on situational downs. Plus, he can play OLB in a 3-4 if I were to run a hybrid type defense. I'm surprised I got him for only $300k. I was willing to drop $1mil on Moats. $950k was my limit for Scott btw...
Pittsburgh would like to welcome back Casey Hampton, NT, at 1.2M. Casey has agreed to take a 3.69M pay cut to remain a Steeler. He will compete for a starting role with Terrell Troupe.
The Falcons would love to welcome Hines Ward to the city of Atlanta. He has agreed to a 3.5M pay cut to play in Atlanta, and has signed a deal near the vet minimum. Ward on Atlanta: "I really like it here, being a Georgia Bulldog in college, I'm a good guy for the slot, and I really appreciate Atlanta looking at the type of person I am, and seeing through the 1 horrible incident, which I regret everyday of my life. And for that Atlanta, thank you for the opportunity and I will show it on the field." Ward on Pittsburgh: "The black and yellow has been a family of mine for 14 years and counting, I will always be a Steeler at heart, and wish to retire one when I decide my playing career is over. 1,000 catches, 12,083 yards, 83 TDs, and a late 3rd round pick, I will always appreciate what opportunity the Rooney family has given me. Thank you, I'll be back home soon! -Ward, the newest Falcon, with his former team of 14 seasons.
Falcons would like to welcome back HOF TE Tony Gonzalez, whom took a 4M paycut to stay with the team.
Bears want to welcome back Adam Podlesh. Good to have our punter back and want to welcome 3 new members to the Bears. Marcus McNeil, Todd Heap, and Michael Jenkins.
The Falcons would love to welcome the following players at a bargain basement price: - WR Chad Ochocinco, 500k - WR Tiquan Underwood, 300k - FB Lou Polite- 300k
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are happy to welcome: QB Mike Kafka $500,000 DB Syd'Quan Thompson $300,000 OL Jeff Byers $300,000 OL Mitch Petrus $300,000 OL Jason Smith $6,000,000 Kafka is a talented young quarterback who has been groomed in the Eagles system, but we feel could be a good starting QB if we needed him to step in for Josh Freeman due to injury. Thompson was a guy we liked coming out of the draft, but unfortunately suffered an injury that set him back. We feel he can come in and challenge for a job. Byers and Petrus are solid, young linemen who will serve as great depth on our line. Jason Smith, who was the 2nd pick in the draft in 2009 has been up and down in his career, but we feel he still has outstanding potential and under a new coaching staff with a background in offensive line play, he can realize his potential and become a dominant offensive tackle in the NFL.
The Chargers welcome back Billy Volek and Mike Scifres. They took a pay cut because they love living in San Diego and they were convinced that their previous salaries weren't good value for their role on the team. They are true professionals and we are proud to have them back.
The Steelers would like to welcome Andre Goodman for 1.6M. Goodman will be competing for a starting role at CB.
The Colts welcome long snapper Lonie Paxton to Indianapolis. Paxton is a three time Super Bowl winning champion and has the versatility to play both guard and center. Suck on that, BK.
Packers welcome new starting ILB Jamar Chaney, alongside Hawk he will solidify our middle. also dane sanzenbacher comes aboard to compliment our wr corp we further brought ina Wisc boy in QB Scott Tolzien who we feel can fit our system well. learning behind rodgers certainly has its benefits and will help Scott. We also welcome back TE Jermichael Finley who is big part of who we are as an offense
Eagles welcome back DeSean Jackson who, paired with Andre Johnson will make one of the best offenses in the league fun to watch!
The Steelers would like to welcome Keith Brooking and Dwight Lowery for 300K. Lowery will swing FS and CB while Brooking will contribute at MLB.
Bears welcome a duo at RB with Khalil Bell and Tim Hightower. Perfect depth paired up with Forte. Bell showed he can fill in for Forte and Hightower will be another weapon for Cutler out of the backfield.
Redskins would like to welcome in Shaun Hill! The redskins now feel very comfortable as far as the QB position goes.
The Colts would like to welcome Rocky McIntosh, Terrell Thomas, Jason Allen, Jeff Saturday, and Tony Fiammetta to Indianapolis. Rocky McIntosh will return to his more natural position as a 4-3 SLB in the Colts new cover 2 press scheme. Terrell Thomas will start next to Stanford Routt giving the Colts a good starting duo at cornerback. Jason Allen will take on the nickel cornerback role. He played the same role very successfully with Houston in 2011, nabbing 4 interceptions. Jeff Saturday will return to the Colts as their starting center, giving second year pro Brandon Fusco more time to grow into the position. Tony Fiammetta will be the team's fullback and his familiarity with Felix Jones will only help. When Fiammetta was ill during the 2011 season, the Cowboys yards per attempt plummeted proving what a valuable asset he was to the team.
Bengals sign: OG, Chad Rinehart ($5,250,000) One of the best pass blocking guards in the league last year. He's going to fit nicely in my pass heavy offense at RG. Also at only 26 years old, I keep the offense young and talented. Huge upgrade over Mike McGlynn.
Saints re-sign: WR Adrian Arrington LB Jo-lonn Dunbar DT Abrayo Franklin DT Shaun Rogers QB Chase Daniel LB Jonathan Casillas
The Philadelphia Eagles would like to welcome to the family Jeremy Shockey, Brady Poppinga, Steve Smith, Matt roth, Dennis Dixon and Phillip Buchanon Jeremy Shockey Was one of the more consistent Tight Ends in the league last year on a young Panthers offense. Putting him on a offense with Michael Vick, McCoy, Andrea Johnson and DeSean Jackson will only help the seem busting tight end with single coverage from linebackers or safetys. Pairing him with a young group of Dj Williams from Arkansas and Clay Harbor is something GM SICK wanted to accomplish. Brady Poppinga is someone that will add depth to the linebacking core, provide special teams help, and veteran leadership. He is a nice addition to the eagles. Steve Smith is re-signed by the eagles after having a terrible season last year after playing in 9 games then being sent to the IR. Steve had a incredible year 2 years ago for the Giants, with Andre Johnson, DeSean Jackson and McCoy being the targets on offense, we see no reason why Steve, if healthy, can be a good addition to our team. Matt Roth is a very welcomed addition to the Eagles 4-3 defense. Moving him around to OLB or DE opposite Trent Cole, and next to David Harris and Rolando McClain will be a good move. Roth had 3.5 sacks in just 9 games last year. With 4 sacks the previous year, and 86 tackles we are excited to add Matt to the defense. Dennis Dixon will be coming on to back up Michael Vick, we are happy to add him. Phillip Buchannon is here for special teams help, depth, and a chance to make his way on the field.
The Colts would like to welcome Jason Jones to Indianapolis. With a five man rotation at the defense tackle position, Jones will be featured primarily on pass-rushing downs.
Depending on the contract he gets this offseason, for 2 million you could be looking at one of the bigger FA steals this offseason.
He played FS last year in Jacksonville and did well. I'll probably swing him between FS and CB depending of I land the FS I am chasing. I always thought he was decent with NYJ.
Cowboys are happy to welcome Jarret Johnson and Reggie Nelson. We look forward to becoming the most dominant defense in the NFL.
A sign of things to come? Welcome to Pittsburgh Paul Soliai! At 3.2M you're a relative steal and our starting NT. Hell ya
