While for many this whole site is simply a place to get Miami Dolphin news and to talk about their team, for many others it has become a social networking site. The number of posts in the pofo, religion, and lounge forums hint at the depth and breadth of the interests of folks who visit here.
Some of the folks who come to "The Phins" are hurting. Job losses, injuries, illness, divorce, and yes even death. A quick perusal of the threads in the lounges and the religion and spirituality forums will give you a hint of what is happening. No one wants to cut off the postings there but the staff has developed this as a place for folks who wish to ask for support or to offer it may come.
I am honored to be chaplain to this site and likely my offerings to folks will come in prayers and pastoral conversation but there are also folks who regularly visit who have expertise in business, counseling, and a wide variety of disciplines who would be willing to listen and perhaps walk with hurting people.
So, again, welcome here and drop by any time!

The idea was Celtkin's I just made the post.
I think it could go either way. Some folks may want to treat this thread like a blog and just keep it running ala the picture threads in other forums or the Christian thread in the religion forum. Others may want to make a specific request with their own thread. That idea has precedence in other forums as well.
I'll just keep checking in as I hope others do until we begin to get some "business"!

screamerluxury_boxThis is a very good idea! Sometimes you need help and you don't know where to turn. Then you talk to someone who has some direction due to a similiar situation and they can lead you or at the very least listen.
