But really, Seymour hasn’t been fantastic this year. Good, but not the Seymour he used to be. We should be okay against him. I think this game should be a good indicator of what to expect from the running game for the rest of the season.

 

That seems light. I expected the one game suspension to be the minimum he could possibly receive. I know it was a first offense, but there was no question of his intent.

 

His ejection is probably considered equivalent to a suspension.

 

Yeah, usually if someone is ejected, they'll take into account time served.

I'm perfectly OK with getting a light sentence for this and I hope other players that face the Steelers take note. Only costs $25k to take a free shot at a rapist. Just do it at the end of the game, the ejection won't matter much.

I don't know but despite Richard Seymour's reputation for being a dirty player, he's suddenly one of my favorite players in the league.

I hope players on the Steelers' schedule feel a little emboldened by Goodell's light penalty on Richard Seymour, start taking some cheap shots on Big Ben, go for the knees and whatnot. That would make me happy.

Sat there like a little baby after he got punched. Full gear on, name is big ben, gets hit and he lays there while his team mates rush to his aid. Where Big Ben is from, I guess you get down or lay down!

BS, I dislike Roethlesslipper but by no means did he come up behind Seymour. Ben turned and not sure what he was doing and when he did so he hit into the left front side of Seymour.
