At least it is for Miami since the closest we get to the Super Bowl is defeating the Patriots at home each year.
And this time around it actually has some meaning, because a Pats loss places them on the road for their first few playoff games.
We obviously know that they don't lose at home so...this is actually quite a big game for the entire AFC.
But can the Dolphins rise to the occasion?
As others have said, Tannehill has looked solid at times over the past few weeks even though he's pretty beat up.
They should honestly start Moore and let the kid rest, which is exactly what many of us have been hoping for all along.
I think in this particular case, however, we're going to take the field strong with either QB and really try to play the spoiler.
So maybe everything will finally "click" and we can have another 30+ point game...which may give our defense enough pride to close the year strong as well.
Each season, I look forward to this contest because slowing down the Pats is the next best thing to the playoffs.
It's our own little Super Bowl, so to speak, and the entire nation cheers us on just like we rooted for the Jets last week.
So even though it's a throwaway game, there's a heck of a lot at stake...especially if our D can punish Brady the way they have opposing QB's recently.
In four weeks we've KO'd three quarterbacks and it's about time for someone to knock NE and that ******* Brady off their special pedestal.
So are we going to win?
Hell yes we are!
Cause it's Super Bowl week in Miami!
So mark it on your calendar and get ready for a war, because our 5-10 Dolphins are going to be out for redemption and they'll end the year with a statement.
You can cheat in Gillette, that's fine....but not in our house!
Not on this day!
Not when corrupt *** Gene Salvatore needs a Fins win for his beloved Steelers!
Not when Jets-nation is screaming our name!
No free passes on this day!
The plot is set.
Out ****ty-*** team is ready.
And it's going to be magical folks!
Get ready for the best 60 minute of Dolphins football of the entire season!
Because this is about more than just football...it's about pride.
Pride for Campbell, pride for Shula and Wake and JT and Marino.
Pride for an entire organization that's tired of meritocracy.
And all is forgiven in 2015 with this one simple feat...so get ready for the wrath of the Dolphins!
