Dolphins' mastery of Donks continues. Someone look up what the record between these two clubs is. It's pretty impressive. We've always had their number and they know it. In the back of their mind, it's always there.

 

Seattle and Oakland the next two weeks in Miami. We should at least be .500 if not two games above it going into week 12.

I had the complete opposite feelings. I can't believe how well the D played.

 

we're past the hardest part of our schedule. everything is downhill from here. nothing but easy teams from here on out.

 

We should keep this in mind too... were a lucky play by favre and the jets, and a boneheaded defensive call against houston on the qb sneak away from being 6 and 2, and leading our division... wow... Unbelievable... as the rev suggested in a thread in CL.... sparano for coach of the year im thinking.

 

You are exactly right thinking back on those games they were tough but they made this team they are today and that is a team that I am very proud of right now. Goodbye laughing stock of the league. :up:

 

I think Mike Smith is going to get it, but Sparano is a strong #2.

If the Patriots win 10-12 games this year, wouldn't shock me to see Belichick win it.

 

Won't happen. The Pats probably will win 10/11 games but there would need to be an implosion on behalf of Atlanta, Miami and possibly Baltimore, Tennessee for BB to get that nod.

 

I think if Tennessee goes 13-3 and the Patriots win 11 games, I don't see why Belichick can't get the nod for Coach of the Year. He's playing with a guy who hadn't thrown a pass since High School, he has a revolving door at the RB spot, the defense is suspect and Randy Moss has just about given up on that team. Every week they get exposed on defense in some way and the next week, Belichick has found a way to patch that exposed area. As much as I dislike the guy, he can coach, cameras or not.

 

Their last possession there was a run of 7 yards.. 58 minutes, allowed just 7 yards.. well done

 

If it comes down to BB vs JF then BB MAY get the nod.. A few other things would need to happen for it to even get to BB vs JF though.

I know the guy is a helluva coach I just think that there are too many other options out there for that honor this year.

Indeed but its four wins.. we've got four wins! never thought i'd be giddy over 4 wins and a 500 record.

 

Every game the rest of the year is winnable.....but we cannot take any team lightly....just play hard and take each game one at a time.

 

I don't think he deserves it though. He had alot more to work with when he arrived there than sparano and company did when they arrived here. We've turned over over half of the roster, starting all kinds of new players and rookies. These guys on this team, are learning together, progressing together from nobody's, into great players. And were winning games as a direct result of it. I dont know much about the falcons, so im sure a case can be made there, I just feel what Sparano and company have done with this dismal team and roster, to get to where we are today, and how we may finish the season, its all on sparano. He's more deserving to me.

 

The media is far more impressed with atlanta though for whatever reason. Its crap, but thats the way it is. Still about a halfseason of football to play though, lets see how this goes, still lots of guys in contention.
