Funny watching first half Patriots vs. 2nd half Patriots. First half Brady looks clueless and lost. 2nd half he seemed to know exactly where the defense was going to be on every single play. And we have to hear a guy like that **** Collinsworth talk about how Brady and Belicheat are the best of all time. Too bad the media will never hold them accountable for being a filthy franchise.
Patriots ran the ball 7 times in the first half for 14 yards, and 0 times in the 2nd half. Zero runs in the second half. I hate him, but Belichick is by far the best coach in the business.
If the refs did what they are supposed to do and announce the ineligible player properly it really isn't all that genius.....So you have 6 players that COULD go out, the ref announces who can't, fine put a hat on the other 5.....Why didn't they announce it? I honestly think the refs saw the Pats were in hurry up mode and panicked and dropped the ball....Should have Balt called a TO, sure but it isn't their burden to do so.....TO's in the playoffs in Jan. are gold. Would Brady have barked at the ref if they stopped the play to announce the ineligible player? Yup.....oh well those are the rules....it was almost as if they were scared of Brady and BB I don't know...As my buddy said yesterday, they planned on that play and they probably also planned on the refs blowing it to, which it happened.... Lastly, Harbaugh runs out to the field to tell the refs how to do their job, and get penalized for it......smh...
there's nothing in the rulebook that says the referees have to delay the play until the defense can get perfectly lined up. By rule, the ref must hold up the play after the offensive substitution only until the defense has had a "reasonable time to complete its substitutions." As Peter King pointed out in his MMQB column, there was a solid seven to 10 seconds between when the referee announced who was ineligible and when Brady snapped the ball. That qualifies as a "reasonable" amount of time. http://www.businessinsider.com/patriots-lineman-formation-2015-1
i re watched the game today and when Vereen checked in ineligible on the Hooma seem pass, it was during a replay, but you can hear the PA announcer say Number 34, ineligible receiver about 10 seconds before the ball is snapped. the crowd noise makes it hard to hear, but that's why you play for home field advantage.
