I've been a Dolphins fan literally since the day I was born in '73 and every single season I completely get my hopes up regardless of what the experts think. This season, I'd like to think that is wasn't simply blind optimism when I expected more out of the franchise, and despite dropping two divisional games in a row I still somehow feel like we're going to be okay. The loss tonight stung...don't get me wrong....and the special teams played horrible. Henne has a few mental breakdowns, which can be expected at times, but he happened to have them when we set a record for the largest variance of TDs ever produced in any game. The Fins beat themselves tonight, plain and simple, and there's no denying that there's plenty of room for improvement over the next two weeks. Despite the setbacks, I still think our team is much better than what we saw tonight. I was wondering how other people felt....is it going to be another 7-9 year or will we regroup and live up to our potential?
Way to early to tell tbh Keith, we've had "crushing" losses before, and there are plenty of games left to play.
i think we're better than last year but we must once again fix the ****ups. we're not good enough to play like crap and win. we have to bring our A game every week to win. sp tms is worrisome however. that could be a year long problem
They could go undefeated the rest of the season and win the super bowl and I would still be spitting on their ancestor's haircuts...
Everyone is panicking around here. Sheesh. We ALL knew the first 8 games were gonna be rough. Everyone had expectations and wishes to be at at least .500 going into a very soft second half of the season. We have an off-week now to set things right to play the next quarter of the season. Chins up folks, we're pretty much on par for expectations; and we're not really out of anything yet.
Too excited my ***. 2-0 with a chance to show how big your balls are only to **** both games up on primetime TV to division opponents. I guess being 4-0 or 3-1 going into the bye week is too much to ask these guys.
I can't wait until Bonamego and Henning are both fired. Their services are no longer wanted or appreciated.
Eh didn't we start 0-3 last year? Funny I don't remember this much anger after that start. Kind of funny actually.........
Because no one had expectations last year. A 7-9, 8-8 was expected by most reasonable fans. This year we expected 9 or 10 wins and a playoff spot. Now we feel like fools, for being fans of this team. We feel betrayed by the ones we trusted (Bill Parcells) and feel there is not much hope for the future (Henne is not exactly showing me he is the man).
