Nerdity is a good thing when channeled into a productive activity, which gives you the money to buy any game you want and the time to play it. Nerds of the world, unite!
Will be playing Arkham Origins in about 24 hours or so. Game unlocks at midnight on Steam. Sadly, I have work tomorrow.
Assassin's Creed 4, holy crap. I think we have a third legitimate contender for Game of the Year, alongside Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us.
Knack, Killzone: Shadowfall, and Forza 4 right now. As to the previous post, having played 2 of those 3 games, I think the Last of Us is the best game of those 2.
Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is just phenomenal. This is the sequel to Link to the Past I've been waiting 20 years for. Sorry, Ocarina of Time, you're a decent enough game on your own but as a follow up to LttP, you suck.
Been playing Tomb Raider. Great game if you haven't played it yet... Finished the main story, but am going through to get 100% completion.
Check it out. Google forza community. I got a million credits and you get monthly rewards. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Since you know, I won't say it. Currently playing a combination of Battlefield 4 (premium double XP event this weekend!), Borderlands 2 (bought it for a friend on the Steam sale, playing through with him), and Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.
I may have to get this. SR3 got panned pretty bad, but I didn't think it was so bad. I'm on Assassins Creed 4 now.
Strangely enough, I'm enjoying it... Never thought it would appeal to me, but it's fun... Wouldn't let my kids play it, though... At least, not yet...
Who panned SR3? I've seen pretty universal positive praise for it. SR4 was received with mixed response, though. I like 'em both but in different ways.
If I recall correctly, yes. There was a whole thread dedicated to making fun of me at fanhell over it. Finyank, Greyson, and bigbry can vouch for that. I took a beating in there.
Yeah, it's taking a while to get into it and make sense of what's going on, especially on the present Abstergo front...but so far so good.
Screw the battleship minigame in Wind Waker. Screw it like it's a Stark character in Game of Thrones.
BF4 on my PC. Graphics are to DIE for. Primarily TEAM DM.. For whatever reason teamwork seems to be a much larger part of BF4 than BF3. I used to be able to dominate running and gunning in BF3. In BF4 you really need to slow down and work in teams
They did a nice job of adding points for team and squad effort. Getting extra points for squad revives and heals is a nice touch. That'll encourage some people to play more as a unit, but you're never going to find coherent teamwork in a pub, IMO. The few times I've found someone willing to cooperate has been like seeing a unicorn prance over a rainbow.
Playing AC3, almost done. Like it quite a bit, but the controls took a little bit to become 2nd nature.
Fired up Zelda: Skyward Sword. The SD graphics really do detract from the experience after the clarity of Wind Waker HD, but it's by no means unplayable. It just feels like there's a grain filter on the screen. I just got to the first dungeon, so we'll see how this goes.
Best game I've played in a long time. I'm only halfway through the story line because I spend so much time pirating. My ship is at 87% weapons and armor, 83% storage and 100% harpooning. This game is like crack.
Definitely, I've been searching for the plans to get the elite upgrades while hording as much metal and wood as possible...want to be fully upgraded before taking on those legendary ships. The Fort battles were much more enjoyable then I thought (avoided them for a while, but decided not taking control of them was more of a issue)
