We're not talking "bad" but just "mean" in the sense of fun or funny ?

I told my wife(before we got married) that I hate football. HAHAHAHA the look on her face was priceless when that first Sunday-after our honeymoon in september- she got herself all dolled up to go shopping and there I was on the couch with a sixpack- patiently awaiting 1:00 pm kickoff. I was in my drawers scratching places that had no business being itchy in the first place.
Obviously I`m only kidding. -

When I met my ex-wife she was a devoute deadhead. She had a huge collection of bootlegs on cassette tapes over a thousand live shows. When we were in the process of our divorce it was kinda like that movie "war of the roses". Anyhow while she wasnt home I put all her tapes in the bathetub and filled the tub up water, so they were all bobbing around in the tub. I did say a word to her when she came home and I just watched as she went into the bathroom. She came flying out with a priceless expression on her face that I still laugh about to this day. You have to keep in mind this before the internet was so popular and music was so easily exchanged. She had countless hours invested in making her collection and was very proud of it. It was a real stinger.

I prank called her at work (she was a clerk in a florist at the time), affecting a ... "mentally challenged" person's voice sating stuff like "I like flowers ... flowers are pretty." What I didn't know was she was in the process of taking her first funeral order.

mmm...I think it was when I told her, "I don't love you all the time."
While it was mean, it was the truth, and has actually helped solidify our marriage after 20 years. Some days you love your spouse, some days you hate them more than anyone else in the world. -

I didn't insult her for doing it. If she and her husband got a laugh out of it more power to her. -
That's all - no harm no foul -
