Like I said, I've no bloody clue what it takes... 2 good corners, 1 great safety, 1 good safety, 2 great pass rushers, a Defensive Coordinator to confuse the QB with scheme and an offense that forces the opponent to force the ball in the air to play catch-up... oh, and eye-of-newt.
Vernon is not built to be an edge rusher. He should be backing up Misi next year, and the following year trying his hand in Burnett's spot if his pass coverage has developed adequately.
