Can we stop this train? Should we stop this train? We could ride it out and hope for the best. Or the worst. I have been, admittedly, overly-patient and empathic with this coaching staff over the years. Yesterday, I threw in the towel. To watch our $100 million dollar man freelance in the wake of poor coaching decisions; to watch our leader, Mr. Wake, turn into Mr. Invisible; to watch the offensive line morph back into 2013-form; well, as the white girl would say, I literally can’t. What’s going through your minds? Are we hoping for a quick turnaround, or for a shot at Joey Bosa? Personally, I’m hoping for the latter - the only route that will gut this coaching staff. Sure, it’s early. We’re only two weeks in to the regular season. Sure, we’re 1-1. But we sure as the fiery depths of hell haven’t played like it. Assuming that this season turns out worse than Donald Trump’s GOP debate, who do you want to see take the reigns as HC? I have always been a proponent of aggressive 3-4 zone blitz schemes, so I’d be thrilled to see a 3-4 defensive guru right our ship. Alas, that scheme would result in an absolute overhaul of the defense - which may not be a bad thing. We’re getting old, and we’re not getting better. I would like to see Suh manage a J.J. Watt-esque role. Dion Jordan, a rush linebacker role. Reshad Jones would excel. Grimey, traded. Wake, traded. Vernon, released. Jenkins would fit the mold as a cover 2 ROLB. Misi feels like a hit-or-miss as the MLB, but Vigil might surprise. Cornerback would require the most restructuring, but Will Davis could turn heads as a zone corner. And Joey Bosa as a 3-4 versatile end? Why yes, don’t mind if I do. What say you?
Spooky. If they can get rid of Will Davis, they could get rid of anyone!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Still too early. Lots of people butt hurt bc they expected better and or didn't respect the Skins or Jax. It'll be November before we can get a real picture of what this team is about.
We know what this team is about. PHILBIN clapping for missed field goals. It's a soft team with no balls. A finesse offense that is only effective between the 30 yard lines. A defense that cannot cover, cannot tackle, and cannot get to the qb. It's pethetic and it's only going to get worse. you're welcome
Rumor has it we have 14 more games to play. Tannehill has looked good, so have the Wr's and Jordan, the D has to find it's way the OL has not played poorly in pass blocking, in run blocking they remind me of the old Marino OL's,,cannot drive block a cardboard cut out of Vern Den Herder. ST have been great (Landry's Td) and bad (Franks missed FG was huge) Keep in mind, opened with two road games, we are 1-1 going into division play.
The only two WR's who've looked good are Landry and Matthews. Stills and Jennings are non existent. Jordan has looked great, but he's got a groin injury atm. So I'm not sure there's much of a positive spin for our offense.
just beat the freakin bills strait up, no trickery, and win us back..then go to london and beat the jets..then we shall forgive.
