This guy can't be serious. . . . http://www.buffalobills.com/media-c...vs-Bills/ca7ad492-1138-43fd-b2ad-86d39a4c8105 Some folks have to learn the hard way.
what if buffalo does beat us? ever think of that? CJ Spiller could wreck our day. Upsets happen all the time. There are a lot of ways to lose a game. Remember, we lost to them last year. not saying we should lose this one, but its not like we're starting out with a 4 touchdown lead or anything. we gotta play the game.
Sharpe has good reason to pick Buffalo. We've lost our opener every year under Sparano and haven't won in Buffalo in five years.
And if that trend continues today I feel VERY sorry for every mod. They'd be better off just shutting the site down until everyone gets off the ledge.
Exactly. Haven't won an opener since 2005. 1-6 in our last seven openers. Haven't won a road opener since 2001. Haven't won at The Ralph since 2003. And I don't know what anyone has seen in preseason or camps to feel so overconfident.
Did you notice that Billick's report was about how Henne and Marshall were getting their timing down YET the evidence the doofus showed was the PENNINGTON to Marshall long toss against Jacksonville? I can't believe these guys are on TV sometimes!
What if we beat Buffalo? I suspect Dolfans will still pick apart the team, so all in all, I'd prefer to be confident heading into the game rather than apprehensive. Last two openers under Sparano we played: 08-Jets 09-Atlanta Falcons Both teams went on to have better seasons than the Bills have had in what? 9 yrs? Keep some perspective folks.
Sterling couldn't decide if a bag of oats or a pile of hay is better to feed his brother either. So in reality, his pick doesn't matter.
I'll bet his pick would matter if he picked the Dolphins. None of it matters. And we can't take it personally.
All I know is this team cannot afford another 0-2, 0-3 start. The thing that worries me most is the constant tinkering on the O-line. The staff needs to decide earlier in camp who the starters are so these guys can jell. Last year they were messing with the line up until the last minute just like this year and they started the season terrible. I hope that I am worrying too much about this and the unit performs as we think they should.
This is quite valid. To take it a step further, I worry whether or not they're capable of starting-caliber play up there. I think we have a good enough center. But a rookie right guard and what's becoming a journeyman left guard? And tackle depth? I'm scurred.
everybodys entitled to their opinion. I have no problem with this. doesn't bother me one bit! Now lets go out there today and prove him wrong!!
I hear you. I keep trying to convince myself that they will be fine. Incognito should be a solid right guard and Jerry was enough of an improvement that they let the season starter at right guard go. That's OK self, keep repeating "They're monsters up front, They're monsters up front".
I'm scurred about this too. With Carey and Long both seemingly a little nicked up this might become a very real problem. I don't even know who the backup tackle is.

It is scientific FACT that when Shannon Sharpe is in a stadium O2 levels drop by 10%, that big mouth sucks up oxygen like a Sham Wow pitch man smacks up prostitutes.
Our O-line was pretty bad last preseason, and damn near awful in the season opener last year. I'm not concerned yet, even if they lay an egg in this game.
Every major NFL analyst and bookie calls the Miami Dolphins the most improved team in the NFL, and trying to evaluate the team by our Preseason record is absurd. Preseason games are like kissing your sister - they are queer and meaningless. Today is the dawn of a new season. Be proud, have faith and be confident. Our first victim is Buffalo. Lets go get 'um!
Exactly, Confidence costs you nothing, look at Rexxy. Between "nervous apprehension" and "calm confidence" I know which one I am choosing.
O god, you didn't put us in the same league with Rex did ya. Yuk! Bring your knife and fork - Buffalo's on the menu when we 'Rock the Ralph"
There is a line between being over confident and having no confidence at all and you guys are way over it. Why are you all dragging your chins around? Today is the day we show everyone how well we did during the off season. This ain't no scrub game like pre-season. Lets rowdy up and 'Rock the Ralph'!
