What Superstitions Do You Have About The Dolphins Winning/Losing?

I have none, just never latched on to anything.

I stuck the Dolphins logo in my signature before the Bills game.

We won.

I'm not taking the logo out.

well I had my auth. Ronnie B. jersey I wore to every home game and Ricky every away game,but I got to meet both this summer and they signed them so Im kind of waitin with this season to see what jersey to get now.

well for the first 3 games I wore Dolphin apparel while on Sunday I did not and we won.

So I wont wear on Monday night :(

I was at Falcons and Chargers game, and watched every minute of colts game, 0-3. I was on a plane and missed the entire Bills game and we won. Damm.

Funny Bpk...same here, had not purchased Landshark Lager for the first three games, then I bought a six pack of long necks and switched around the Dolphins SB penants and broke out the Griese throwback in honor of Chad Henne's first start and we won...

So it is Landshark on Monday and the Griese throwback for me...won't move the flags around though.

I used to have many, many of them, and they'd change all the time. Drove myself nuts worrying if the wife in the room was causing it, or having my leg pointed the wrong way.

Yeah, I had that one going on at one time. If I only listened to it on the radio (internet), we'd do fine. As soon as I'd even walk into the room where the TV was, something crappy would happen. It was beyond eerie. We didn't win every game, but boy I wasn't going to tempt fate by trying to watch games that season.

On a related note, I switched from Dolphin gear to University of Miami gear for the Buffalo game. I'll try it again Monday.

I must have a cup of coffee out of my Dolphins mug on gameday.

If we win I will wear the same jersey for the next game, if we lose I'll switch to a different one.

wow you must have been a stinky sumbich last year.

Me, I try to break all of my curses. Week one I wore my auth. Zach jersey, and drank Corona since the bar didn't have Landshark. Well this week I again wore my auth. Zach jersey to Miami and drank Landshark along with Shock Top to cure the curse.

I have to drink out of my Dolphin coffee mug the day before and the day of the games.
Have to wear my special socks and my Dolphin sneakers.
Light aqua & orange candles. (do you know how hard it is to find aqua pillar candles?)
Put my Dan stand up out.
Take my Tylenol for the headache I will surely get, then sit and watch the game on the stream. :up:

I get that way though... sometimes I feel like if I stand up I'm bringing them bad luck, so I sit down.

Other times it's me sitting down that's the problem, so I stand up. lol.

Wow, Deb!!! You win for the MOST things you have to do in order for us to win!

It's almost like an entire ritual, complete with the lighting of candles.

Perhaps it would help to offer a burnt lock of Dan Marino's hair before each game? lol ;)

Don't have any, I do not believe in superstitions. They're nice for those who believe in them, but I have felt since I became born again that superstition is putting your faith in something other than God, so I just don't. For those of you who do, I am NOT knocking or judging, this is just my personal beliefs.

I dont' have any superstitions, but i do enjoy reading about other people's

I cut my lawn just before the Dolphins game, get cleaned up, and then put my Jersey on. Didn't do that Monday night against the Colts and look what happened. Although i guess that doesn't really explain why it didn't work against the Falcons or the Chargers..

LOL I always get a head ache during games. I just go ahead and take my tylenol before the game starts.
The ritual is fun to me.
No one calls me or comes over during a game. I can get really emotional at times. I won't even answer the phone. :no:
I've done this for 30 some years now, adding things as I go and I love it.
So, I say, Go Dolphins and crush the nasty jests. :up:

Please do not buy Land Shark Lager!! I refuse to EVER buy it. I tried it once earlier this year and it tastes like piss. Anyway, these are my superstitions. If my mom calls me or texts me, Miami will lose. She used to call, but now she texts and I think it's a new type of curse. It's even worse. She texted me before the Atlanta game "Go Fins!! Yeah!!!, and I just looked at my dad like........ "It's over."
