What will it take for Henning to get the axe?

He is not getting the axe and he had nothing to do with that loss last night.

The one play I didn't like was the wildcat, and that play blew up because nobody blocked, not because of the play call.

If it makes you happy, I believe he will retire at seasons end.

So 14 points of offense against one of the worst defenses in the league is a good night for Henning huh? You don't see anything wrong with that I guess.

i think he has three years at most till he retires. i think if we salvage the season he sticks around for a possible super bowl run. if we **** the bed this year, then i could see him retiring this year. hope he doesnt, i cant wait to see this offense once henne gets to the next level

Henning And henne need to BOTH get the Axe. I hate watching henne play its like watching the three stooges

He was talking about retiring when Parcells talked him into coming to the Fins. I believe he will retire.

When your special teams hand the other team 21 points, it effects everyone on the team. Henning didn't throw 3 picks, that was on Henne, we were moving up and down the field until the special teams debacle.

The passing game was working, but Henning pushed it. Rather than try to switch it up a little, he just kept calling pass after pass. The running game was working also, wasn't it? But he was calling plays like it was a 2 minute drill. It's unreal how many of you actually defend this guy and want him to stay.

Did I say I wanted him to stay??? I said he won't be fired. I think he will be gone in the off season.

We had to go hurry up after the 8 minute span of playing no special teams.

Henne had a wide open Marshall on one int, sometimes the OC calls the right plays and they are not executed right on the field.

I actually love the fact he has let Henne loose. My main pet peeve is the random WC play, but he hasn't been that bad aside from that.

Henning is BFFs with Parcells, wont happen untill after the season.

Henning had me shaking my head with some of the personnel groupings. The Pats couldn't stop Bess all night and for some reason we kept going back to our base or 2TE sets. I've always believed that when you have success doing something, you continue to do it until the other team stops it. Henning has a different philosophy, or A.D.D. perhaps. But NJ is right, it was Henne making poor decisions, more than I've ever seen from him, that turned this into a bad night for the offense. I wont beat the S.T. horse, that shouldn't overshadow what was IMO Henne's worst game as a pro.

I will say that the offense is missing an identity IMO. Are you a smash mouth offense? Thats what I think Miami has to do to be successful. Granted, the offensive line is going through a transition, but establish an identity and make people stop you. When you establish the run, it opens up the passing game and makes play action that much more dangerous. Henne likes being under center too, which makes this make more sense.

Who is the running back and who relieves him? I think Miami is purposely "sparing" Ronnie Brown. There is something to this. When I see Ronnie Brown run, he is running hard and with authority. He needs 80% of the carries to be more effective. 20-24 touches a game isn't unreasonable. If they are afraid of him getting hurt, then its time to look elsewhere for a RB.

My concerns w/Miami are around the DL and obviously ST's. They need a force in the middle of the line.

The team is young, the are going to go through growing pains & could easily be 0-4 or 4-0, but they are what the record says they are, 2-2. Winning the division is much harder now that the 2 losses are at home to division rivals. No doubt it is going to be difficult.
They are a much better team than last year, have more talent and it is still early. Lets see how they respond.

Don't make Henne grow up too fast. Run the ball & keep the game manageable.

Been hearing that crap ever since Henning started calling plays. Come on Ricky, we need better execution of those halfback throws! And dammit, why can't you pick up 6 yards on a play designed to gain 4 by our coach's own admission!

Did Henne stink up the joint? Yeah he had a bad game. But Henning's playcalling is atrocious. He has an unparalleled knack for calling the worst possible play at a horrible time. The kind of play where every fan (not to mention the defense) sees it and knows whats coming and just screams "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" as the punt unit trots out again.
