I like Foster, but I agree here. Maybe not as emphatically as you. :lol:

I think if we're focused on getting an LB, there's going to be some at our pick.

And as I type this, an update on my phone... Reuben Foster has failed a drug test at the combine due to a "diluted sample"

So, he just may fall to us now similar to Tunsil.

 

Foster..Cunningham..Reddick...if one is there take him..

 

I'm not so sure about Foster anymore. Seems like he may be a head case..and not in a good football way.

 

Yeah, only foster is not nearly as good as Tunsil. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole I thought he was overrated even before this failed drug test. If he fallls to the second round maybe I would take him otherwise forget about it.

Personally I wouldn't draft Foster if he fell to 22.

 

He's too risky, IMO. He has injury issues that are unresolved. He's not too bright (read: borderline mentally ******ed..seriously). He's small. He was protected at Alabama in a way that he won't be protected in the NFL. It was also very weird that thing in the nightclub. You know, where his cousin and 2 other people were killed and he never presented himself to the police until the police found out he was there.

 

He may fall farther than that. For the reasons other posters have mentioned, this guy is a total risk now. If you were to make a list of things NOT to do during the offseason leading up to getting drafted by a team, Foster would literally be checking off almost all of the boxes.

 

You are right, I wouldn't take him unless he fell to the fourth.

Uber athlete, but Bama LBs are tough to read. So much talent that it can mask deficiencies. Lots of first round Bama LB flops. Give me a Zach Cunningham that dominates in the SEC on a team of inferior talent.

And as many pointed out, he's not demonstrating very good decision making at a critical time, which makes it too risky a coin flip for a team that needs sure things. Dion Jordan or Laremy Tunsil? If he's there, you probably have to pick him (and pray). But you can't move up or give up much for him. Question is, if you grab Lamp and he's sliding into the top of the 2nd.......what to do?

 

If he gets picked in the 1st I'd eat my Marino autographed football. lol

 

I'll put this out there as a little something to chew on. Foster has claimed that to add weight and clear sickness he over-hydrated during the combine which led to his diluted sample. One can assume that Gase still has a relationship with Saban. One can assume the Dolphins, like they did with Tunsil last year, would have investigated all the happening-ons with Foster. If Gase gets a clear endorsement from Saban and all of what Foster is claiming is deemed legitimate from the people within the FO that investigate that sort of thing then sure, pull the trigger on him. Just wait til after the first round to do it.

 

I'm hearing they're going to actually try and move down. Get more picks. I know it was because of a Gasmask Bong, but trading down was actually a boon for the Dolphins last year.
