I'm a huge movie man so my head has too many to list. But off the top of my head right now without even looking around: The Best Movie: The Godfather The Best Movie Concept: The Departed The Most Underrated Movie: Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing The Worst Movie: Freedomland The Worst Movie Concept: Too many to name. The Most Overrated Movie: Superbad
Best movie I have seen has to be either Se7en or 12 Monkeys.. Has anyone seen Open Water 2? It was on HBO last night and boy was it awful. Girl freaks out falls out of boat and EVERYONE jumps off the boat to "Rescue"her. Well the dumbasses forgot 1 tiny little problem. They have no way to get back on the boat. Yeah brilliant right?
I didn't think so. I mean the concept of the movie was ok (not great), just very poorly executed IMO.
McLovin didn't get laid though. Only Qualls did. Besides, Qualls getting laid was funny b/c he's like 85 lbs whereas the chick he was bangin' was like 350. In Superbad, every chick was hot.
What did you think of the ending? The whole sleeping next to each other and the Boop Boop. Oh then there was the mall scene they got the girls but were still so gay with each other. If I were to watch it again which I probably will I will skip the last 20 mins of the movie.
Worst movie? Hrmmm... I used to own a few video stores so I have seen many... Right now, I'd go with Rutger Hauer's 'Split Second'.
I find it impossible to put a comedy up there as the worst movie ever....because even the worst comedy is so stupid it's funny, so you still get some laughs. My worst movie ever is Autumn in New York (R.Gere, W.Ryder)....only movie I can remember that I saw half the audience get up and leave. I'm guessing that no one else has mentioned it because you were all lucky enough to avoid it. I was not so lucky.
They just wanted to have a funny/bizarre ending so I wouldn't look into it too much. Both of those characters are all about the kitty
The Adventures of Ford Fairlane was the first movie that jumped to my mind as the worst I've seen. It stars Andrew Dice Clay as a "Rock n Roll detective". When you hear that you know your in for a crappy movie. And it sure doesn't disappoint on that front. Though there is a funny line he has. When someone mentions a woman's name or someone asks him if he knows a woman he says, "Yeah, I ****ed her. OWWW!!!" Its so cheesy but the way he says it is hilarious.
Any Dolph Lundgren movie. I hated "Rudy" too. Kept hoping he would get injured and never get his moment in the sun
I've seen a lot of bad movies in my time. Hard to decide between Plan Nine from Outer Space, Crime Zone, Hear No Evil, Full Fathom Five, Red Scorpion, etc... But I guess the worst movie ever made (which I saw on MST3K) would have to be Manos: the Hands of Fate.
Charlie's Angels 2 Moulon Rouge There will be Blood (OMG hated that movie......) I'm sure the more I think about it and read this thread more will pop up in my head. (eat your heart out Dr. Suess)
Hey, it wasn't a classic, but compared to Full Fathom Five, Crime Zone or Deepstar Six, it's the freaking Godfather.
WHAT!?! (in my best lil' John voice) Seriously though, that movie is more of a guilty pleasure to me than anything else- I will agree it's not very good though. For me (like Rick 1966), it's an MST3K movie- PUMA MAN! "Every man is a god, every man is free..." They had some of the WORST b-movies on that program...:ah: loved that show.
didn't get through the whole thread, but Friends With Money is the worst movie I've ever seen, hands down. Followed closely by The Life Aquatic
Any Steven Seagal movie made in the past several years. I rented one maybe a year or so ago - I can't even remember the title. That's how bad it was. And I was surprised at just how bad it was. There was one scene where Seagal was sitting at a table talking to a couple of other people. All of a sudden his voice in the movie went from his own voice to some different voice. I mean he was talking and it was his voice and then right in the middle of the conversation someone else's voice was dubbed in. In another scene he was fighting these guys and in the corner of the screen I could see a boom mike.
So you've seen what? Three, four movies total? Because while Spider-Man 3 wasn't great, there have been many, many almost uncountably many more movies made that are worse.
