I was saying, "oh crap, here we go again". My wife was telling me "how can you deal with this every week, it totally nerve wracking" . She had to get up and leave the room. When the Dolphins got the on side kick, it was a huge sigh of relief.
They kicked the c r a p out of Steelers, knock the 3rd starting QB out. Even the rushing yards (minus the one missed tackle for that 60 yard TD) were only 68 for the ret of the entire game. If there is one thing I have to say bad is that the score should have been even more lopsided.
What a great win.

Someone brought up the Steeler's red zone defense as being great. You gotta credit them for that. Same way we were against Cincinnati.
I've never really witnessed such a poor tackling Steeler's team. Just goes to show you how important time of possession is.
Lastly, I think the one thing that nobody has really mentioned yet is our home field advantage with our refurbished stadium. Timmons was puking, they're husky asses were wilting in that heat. Huge advantage when the sun is out and it's over say 80 degrees.
But yeah, I was the same way. Quiet as hell until Landry recovered the onside kick... -
That was a big part of the roof design. The visitor's sideline will always be in the sun, at least for 1pm games. Still TBD for 4pm starts, especially after the time change. But either way, its homefield advantage, and should be even moreso in seasons where we get more home games in September, instead of playing three of four on the road.

Honestly thats a miserable road trip for any team, especially those who arent accustomed to the humidity. If we can have a punishing offensive run game other teams will dread this stadium. Does anyone know if they are allowed to set up some sort of shade?

It's by design. The stadium/roof was designed to keep the phins sidelines in the shade all day, and the opposition in the sun as long as possible. That sun, with the heat and the humidity just wiped out the Steelers. Timmons puking on the field was so gratifying to see. Great to see that Miami home field advantage kicking in.number21 likes this.
