i know in 1972 we had a few games in december...don't know if we won them though...i think we did though
Found this on Miami Dolphins: Playoffs news: ++++ The Dolphins went 4-0 in December, the second time in the last four years that they have gone undefeated in the season's final month, as they were 5-0 in December/January in 2005. Overall, it is the ninth time they have gone undefeated in December during the regular season, having also done it in 1970 (3-0), 1972 (3-0), 1974 (3-0), 1978 (3-0), 1981 (3-0), 1983 (3-0) and 1985 (4-0).
Well, I'm just glad we were undefeated this December, becuase now we can talk about the play-offs this time of year, instead of the draft!
Those teams were built for the cold. Csonka, Kiick, Morris. It wasnt until Marino that December killed us. Sad to say, but true.
BS! Not true at all! You're only 25 years old. You didn't even watch those games!!! And if you did, you were 5 years old!!!! Our defense killed us, not Marino. Don't you remember Louis Oliver 10 yards behind Andre Reed, chasing him in the snow? That wasn't Marino's fault! Marino didn't miss easy tackles on Thurman Thomas. Nice try at revisionist history, buddy! Sorry if I took this too personally.
Your dead on though, the D was a weak point from 83 until the 90's. Many of those winning season were road out on the Offense's back.
